Everton tickets (General Sale)

Post by Boomer »

Nope not a match sticky....

My mate & me just got our O2 priority txt's and Everton tickets our up for grabs via ticket master etc...
Anyway just logged and also took a glance at the availability. Doesn't bother me as most of you know I've a season ticket.

Looks like we're struggling to sell.
West Stand's sold out baring upper block 91 which is yellow.
East Stand is similar with 113 & 115 yellow
now...
Northbank has upper blocks 98 - 101 (4 blocks), 103-104 & 109 yellow as well.
Clockend is worst: Lower tier! blocks 26-28 Yellow. (I though it would be FE!?)
Upper tier....the whole section yellow!!! Plus.....blocks 119-120 & 122 are Green!

Doesn't look good. :?

Still attendence will be 60,059

I noticed that, however for the first ten goes to try and get a seat apparently there weren't "enough seats in that area."

IT'S YELLOW! GIVE ME A SEAT!! :banghead:

I have never seen so many games to general sale.

I can see this getting worse and worse unless Wenger starts to spend some money this January. Problem is if he doesn’t and we make any kind of mistake it will all be blamed on Wenger not spending and rightly so.

Most people I speak to don’t want to put the effort on anymore as its so expensive.

I am hoping the board will see this and realise that new signing or 2 will increase ticket sales again.

So far this season if i would of stayed red i could of get a ticket for every home game apart from Barca

2 years ago When i first had the option of season ticket i got told that i had zero chance of getting in block 5 or 6 and that the waiting list would be years and even then i doubtful

This season there were 100's for me to choose from.

We need to win something this season or i fear ticket sales will get worse and worse.

Carling cup alone wont be enough however.

Yes, worrying.
But have to consider:
-VAT raise (in everything including ticket and travel)
-economical mood (inflation tops up 4%..)
-weekday match

It the same in most of uk theater,cinema,etc..
Look at MOTD, stadiums are not always full (far from it in fact),
It is not only because of our team (part of the thing maybe)

Reuce the cost of a hotdog and beer. Maybe put a voucher that you can only get if you buy a programe. This would get them 50p off the cost of the beer and hot dog.

Bit of a side note but kinda related. Was on the chavski site earlier (don't shoot me, i was looking to see if they were showing the FAYC game!) & noticed they've slashed their ticket prices for FA Cup games. £25 for adults & £12.50 for kids anywhere in the ground. Would be nice if Arsenal could do the same. But then i guess you've got all the business of ST holders having already paid full price for them as part of their season tickets... :banghead:

Flash my friend you forget one big almighty aspect.....

When you get the programme you also get the chance win a price that Arsene reads the numbers out for half time.

Chance of competition
Voucher for 50p off hot dog and beer
and a glossy programme full of wild story’s and interesting facts

This will really help the fans and will be a lovely way of Arsenal showing us how much my 1000k means to them.
