now look even more costly.Notwithstanding the 3 defeats at home.
Mud U is on a roll. They motivated themselve to be the next 'Invicibles'.
I can see them going unbeaten all season.

He contradicts himself all the time.
When Edu joined, Aw said cannot throw a player into premiership football without 6 months prep/conditioning.
What did he do with Kos and Squillaci ? threw them both into premiership football without prep/conditioning!. I recall the shock on Kos face when Douff and Nial Ranger powered past him.Not to mention the Drogba goal.

i think the acclimatisation thing is really for s.americans and others who have never played in europe.
and kos may have been mangled by few forwards in past but hes vastly improved in last month. stronger air and tackle, better direction on headers, and less likely to get caught wrong side of his man.
originally thought squillaci was better but now he looks more like stepanovs. he cant direct his headers except to opposition players in scoring positions, terrible positioning and suicidal backpasses.

This thread is wayyyyy too premature.
Everyone thought Chelsea was the greatest thing under the sun, but look how quickly a team can fall down the rankings.
Man U will not be the new Invincibles, and even if they did go unbeaten they would never be able to claim that name considering the gap in quality between 10-11 United and 03-04 Arsenal. However, they'll lose eventually, they have poor away form and a lot of difficult away fixtures coming up.

And if you lot would hurry up and beat Ipswich and go on to lift the League Cup, we could have the fall back of 6th getting us into the Europa League as wellMK Gould wrote:Everyone has dropped silly points this season.
But fact is that we're now tucked in behind Utd - with Sunderland now competing with Spuds for the Europa League spot!
The season begins now!!

About the OP however, I'm not too sure why he thinks certain results are looking "more costly" now if he thinks Man Utd might well go all season undefeated anyway

the league looks like its united's to lose, simply because Chelsea have managed to self destruct and Arsenal aren't ready to overtake united yet. Signs are that next season should be very close though, regardless of what people think about Wenger, Arsenal are looking nearer and nearer to being a side that can challenge for top spot

Same old fucking story
Koscelny and Squallachi were outstanding that night,
Thought we actually had the makings of a great partnership after that game.

The Sunderland and Wigan games will not cost us the title, both games were away and it happens, no one agreed with the rotation at Wigan but it was during a busy period so you could see what he was thinking even if he got it badly wrong.
What will be responsible will be losing to two promoted teams and throwing a two goal lead to Spurs, at home that should not be happening and at worst you would expect 7 points out of those when really we should have got all 9.

but everytime we look like we're getting there our best players fuck off to barca and we have to start againsafcftm wrote:And if you lot would hurry up and beat Ipswich and go on to lift the League Cup, we could have the fall back of 6th getting us into the Europa League as wellMK Gould wrote:Everyone has dropped silly points this season.
