Koscielny...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Koscielny is suddenly the second coming of Tony Adams is he?

Your football knowledge Louder, can be written on ****'ys knob.

Or wengers knob because he seems to have it stuck in his mouth full time :wink:I notice too louder how quick you are to post when everything is rosy in the wenger garden but not so quick to post when things arent.[/quote]

Awfuly witty banter guys. But reading the highlighted sentence, Mac, the complete opposite is the case. I always participate when things aren't going too well. On the other hand, this place tends to dry up a bit when things are going well, as the anti' wengers trawl the daily rags in the attempt to dig up negative, non-stories ( see;- ''Eastmond'' thread  ). The reason this thread popped back up is because it is only fair that when someone criticises a player before he's had a chance, they deserve to have their face rubbed in it 8) . Well done 1989 :barscarf:
Likewise, you're being a tad premature if you think Koscielny has "made it" yet.
Not suggesting in the slightest that he has ''made it''. But a player deserves a chance before being written off. As is being proved  by the majority of our squad.

He deserves criticism if he doesn't play well. I think that's clear, in any job - not least such a well-paid one.

And the majority of players who most can see are excellent players are showing it, some who have not proved anything are playing to an average-to-good standard, and those who are below-par, are proving that as well.

Yup must say he made no real errors against Wigan home, West Ham or Leeds, didn't look overally convincing at Portman Rd tho and had an absolute mare at Wigan away but.....

quite happy to eat my words if he proves to be half decent

Kos looked dodgy at start of season and has grown stronger throughout season and formed a great partnership with Djourou...

only time he has looked back is when he is paired with the useless *word censored* Seb Squillaci :banghead:
