Cracking result, another final at last :barscarf:

Made hard work of it a bit but Ipswich were determind & it was emphatic in the end. I generally like Mark Halsey but that's gotta be one of the worst refereeing performances i've seen in a while. I particularly liked him getting in the way of the ball, deciding to award a freekick before changing his mind & giving a drop ball :? Looked to be some pretty rash challenges & petty fouls/shirt tugging etc from the tractor boys, don't know how there weren't more cards!

Atmosphere was very good for the first 30 mins & last 30 mins, rather frustrated in the middle  I like the fact that Cesc mentioned in his programme notes how bad it was on Saturday lol. Also liked the way he told Barry Bender off for leaving the pitch too early without applauding the fans at the end :barscarf:

So, who would we rather? West Ham or Birmingham?

In the words of the late Brian Moore ' Arsenal, are through to Wembley!'

And a decent atmosphere at the grove! Very frustrating first half, Very similar to the first leg.. You just knew if we scored we'd get more.. Some guy shouted behind me after Bendtners goal 'oh, we'll win now'

Kos and Djourou were solid at the back, Van Persie & Cesc were lively.. Denilson was.. Denilson.

Man of the match for me had to be Jack, the lad never gives up and a beautiful pass for our first. Only real criticism I would have of him is that he needs to shoot a little more instead of going for that final pass..

Overall I'm chuffed to bits, We Love You Arsenal :barscarf:

How great was it to see the celebration of the 2nd goal. Seems like the whole squad gets on very well with each other.

I've rarely seen a ref try harder to make us lose this game!

Ipswich players were constantly fouling our players and stoping the game! They should've seen yellow cards far earlier. They were constantly juggling between agressive play and dangerous play. The most blatant part was when they kicked the ball on the ref and Cesc picked it up right outside the box, in a 4 vs 3 situation. Ref blows for god knows what! WTF!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

The team played well overall. Denilson was his usual anonymous self. Cesc is ok but comparing to his previous season, I'd say he's still under-performing. Cesc is capable of much more! Arshavin, we all know what he's capable of and it's very frustrating to see him play so poorly! He made two assists (one corner kick and a simple pass to a rushing Cesc) but he loses an awfull amount of balls lately and compared to Nasri, he offers close to Zero protection to Clichy! Barry B didn't really shine except for his nice center to RVP and his well taken goal who proved to be vital, so I'll lay off his back for tonight. RVP must have a deal with some superior power to shoot so many times on the bar or the posts. Other than that he constantly shows his intelligence with very good positioning and very good timed runs. God only knows what player he could've been if he wasn't made of glass. Wilshire is a player of heart. He's a real soldier and gives his soul and body for the team. The only word that comes to my mind when I look at this 19 years old boy is "generosity". his level of commitment suffice to give him first team access. The back four did fine considering Ipswich never really intended on scoring except on rare occasions.

Good game overall an another cleen sheet to add! Oh! and... WEMBLEY HERE WE COME!!! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Performance was ordinary to say the least, thought the usual players were awful Barry Bender was poor but scored a good goal, Arshavin was terrible, Denilson was absolutely appalling and even Cesc didnt play that well IMO... but we got to Wembley and thats the main thing.

Come on you gunners :barscarf:
