How to change NAT type to open?

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

How to change NAT type to open?

Post by tinpot lane »

Trying to change my Sky router NAT to open, currently it says moderate.

Not very experienced when it comes to these sort of problems so if someone is able to explain it to me in the simplest terms possible I'd really appreciate it.

Enable the UPnP on the reuter, i assume you want it for gaming. However Sky recommend moderate for normal inter netting.

Barry, you amaze me with your technical nous.

When we were at school we had no computers. Just a slide rule and an abacus.

Respect. :D

Put your IP address in google, The page will ask for username and password

Under advanced you will find UPnP.

My advice would be to leave it alone :( you dont really need it unless you are into gaming
