Ade-barn-door.

Post by Gimp_mask »

Good sunday morning to you all,
As far as 'improved players' go I have to admit I have never seen such a change in a player as in the improvement of the man named over a year ago "ADBARNDOOR" as when he first arrived at the arse the guy never looked like a genuine first teamer as his control was average or below, his heading abilty for one so tall was poor and his finishing was very barn door like and I am very pleased to say this guy has stepped up his game so much so that he is now our main striker, undropable and his all round game is just so dangerous to the opposition.

The tabloids do not give this guy enough credit and they just bang on constantly about the long necked hooker lover Ronaldo.

Lets hear it for the best striker in the premiership this season.

Emmanuel Adeybayor - we salute you.

ade just like drogba was struggling in front of goal when played as the lone striker, although i was never down on him as he never gave less than 100%.

he, like dogbag is benifiting from the room a second striker creates which leaves him just a bit more time on front of goal.

wengers is right he is the best striker in the prem ,in another year or so when he has learnt the offside rule he will be truly world class.

i just love adebayor.

btw its no coincidence that when he was playing as a lone striker that our midfielders were scoring loads of goals, his drifting out to the wings with the ball took defenders away from the box and allowed the likes of fab, hlab and rosicky to waltz right in there. the man is class, and still only very young.

Great credit must go to his partner, Eduardo, what a foil he is for the big man from Togo 8)

If any of you like a wee bet I would recommend the Dude for top scorer in the Euro 08 tournament

Adebayor was not as poor as he was made out to be, like he's not world class now.

I think a bit of perspective is required.

Ade was rubbish when he joined and played upfront with Thierry, shooting poor, heading poor and control only average, he was playing with zero confidence and he did feel slightly in awe if Henry i'm sure.

He is not world class yet but boy are his performances this year something to get excited about
