As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Anyone notice just after the second half began, the cunt said something to the effect of:
"Everton always pick up points against the big four, they will be happy leaving here with the three points"....almost as if to say that they already won the game....
But the visiting team had been incensed by refereeing high farce earlier in the second half that had ultimately seen them denied a goal.
The incident started when Colchester protested after referee Darren Sheldrake ruled out a strike from Steven Gillespie that found the corner of the net.
There was no offside flag and, after consulting his linesman, Sheldrake changed his mind and awarded a goal.
Charlton then protested, with the Addicks bench apparently suggesting to the fourth official that the goal had been ruled out before the ball crossed the line. Sheldrake changed his decision again, ruling out the goal and restarting the match with a drop-ball.

Great three points and a helluva lot of positives to take from it , albeit mainly
on second half performance . Cracking Atmosphere to boot .
Loved Fabregas's 'Lets be 'aving ya ' gesture to the crowd and then him wrestling the ball off Howard after we equalized . Seems to be upping the ante on the Leader bit and starting to carry and drive the team on as he has done in previous seasons . Wonder did Denilson's jibe rattle him a little ?
Certainly back to being the heart beat of the team . Long may we still have him .

That's funny. There was a stat in last night's programme, Everton haven't won away at a "Big Four" side since September 99, that's 45 matches ago, the longest such streak in the league.
How these morons get paid to spout completely wrong & inaccurate bollocks is beyond me.

If I hadn't been watching the match on an illegal stream I'd have complained!
Can our American cousins write to Fox on our behalf?!
Cesc is playing like a warrior right now. He don’t give a fuck who hates him he aint taking shit off anyone.
I am loving this side of him and I want every *word censored* to hate him and hate us. Will only make us stronger, the fans louder and players more passionate.
Last night was pure passion in that second half.
I just hope it doesn’t increase Cesc worth that we cant say no to Barca in the summer.
I must say i am proud of Captain Fabregas. He's had enough of years of playing fair and doing things the right way just to be kicked about, see his team have their legs broken and at the end of it, not win anything, not a single trophy. It's a sad thing really because he's been in the arsenal team since 17 or so and only in the last 2 seasons has he now started to berate referees, lash out, look to win penalties and give other players little kicks etc. Why? Because for years he's seen other teams do it and win! I'm glad he's giving as good as he's getting. What are the 2 main similarities between players like Keane, Viera, Ronaldo, Rooney, Terry etc? 1) All were experts at either/or strategic fouling, blatant bullying, tactical diving, abusing referees, intimidating opposition. 2) They were winners!!! The win at all costs attitude has won them numerous trophies and medals. Cesc has finally realised that the plaudits for pretty football and trying to do things honorably is a fruitless pursuit in the prem and results in getting a reputation as being easily bullied like arsenal post 2005. In other words he's become battle hardened and i for one think it was the final step in him becoming one of the world's best, the whatever it takes to win attitude and not caring what the media/opposition/fans think about him. It's rubbed off on the squad and most pundits, and level headed united and chelsea fans have recognised this and congratulated arsenal for showing the steel/grit needed. Only hypocrites and bitter spurs fans seem to have a problem with it.
been saying we are too nice for years
Cesc is developing a nasty side - RVP and Wilshere are natural gits which is good as well
on another note
ran in to a friend of mine who lives on AberdeenPark (the other side of HighburyFields from the Grove) she said -what the hell was going on last night?
I didn't know what she was talking about -
apparently her little dog was getting scared the noise from the Grove was so loud!
it seriously was the best atmosphere since the first 5 mins v ManUre in the CL
keep this up and we can terrorise teams at home
jack_wilshere Listening to talksport and they questioning cecs
captaincy, he is a brilliant leader and protects his team mates always, very passionate guy 7 minutes ago via Twitter for BlackBerry®
as pointed out on ZM it was Wenger's change of shape that did the Toffee's in http://www.zonalmarking.net/2011/02/02/ ... #more-5768
he's not a great manager tactically so only fair to give him props when he pulls it out the bag
maybe our young manager is improving just like our young players!

COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!
Yes JD I agree. Last night was loud and hostile and I fucking loved it!
The whole place was rocking! I just wish it was always like that. Is there any wonder the players got it together when they had a 12th man who was contender for man of the match.
When we scored that 2nd goal the noise was deafening… Easy better than Chavs at home and Carling cup semi final in terms of noise.
Lets bring that kind of noise to the Barca game.
Made me proud to be a gooner last night. Passion and heart with true fucking spirit from all the players and the fans.
