What needs to happen to prove Wenger right?

Again Martin. This is totally unproven.

I think le boss has plenty of funds. But chooses not to spend them. He's a stubborn old git like me.
Clearly delusional oldgit. And ignorant of the real problem

Bit harsh on olgitgooner there, AA23Northbank. You have to bear in mind that he is at an age when things don't always make sense and even the simplest instructions can become very difficult to understand.
Oh - that bit also applies to olgit!! :-P :-P

What the feck has charity work and the community got to do with proving Wenger right???? Are they part of the 25 man league squad??

Why bring the board into it? Are they gonna help win a trophy from here on in????

 Jheeez!!

What needs to happen to prove Wenger right?
The squad to continue to step up to the challenge.
The fans continue to back the boys.
Stop dissing le boss. He knows better than you or I.

That is all.

I'm sorry but that is just sheep talk. BAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

Is questioning the manager now deemed as "dissing" him? I'll question any manager that has failed to deliver a single trophy in 6 years primarily because of his own refusal to strengthen the squad year after year.

its obv just opinion/speculation to say why we haven't won things
I thought Shevchenko was an awesome signing
I thought Henry wasn't after the first few months

we all prob think den and bendys contract renewals wr excessive
but wenger thought he was keeping flamini + hleb but the fact they hadn't renewed meant the minute they had a good season they went elsewhere for more money
desperately trying to placate/retain flamster and hleb contributed to losing diarra and gilberto

we could have made a big money signing every year and be in the same poisition, or worse off, just with less money

it doesn't make sense for wenger to spend imo
he's accumulating a 'warchest' for the next manager

the prob is if martin's right and the board sell up to profiteers
I hope that the closer we get to uefa's financial regs biting the less viable that becomes

Everyone has a right to question but some of the comments I've read here aren't questions moreso abuse. But that's their perogative. I don't go about accusing folks of talking cr*p or any such stuff just because their opinion differs from my own.
Differing opinions should be what makes for a decent forum.
Inspite of his refusal to add to the squad this winter we're still the most likely to catch Manure. Should we carry on picking up points and they falter (they've got some big games coming up) then why shouldn't we take advantage?
I'd love to share the negativity or pessimism on here but I must be too blind a sheep to get with it.

Apologies CC - there should have been a "winkey" emoticon in that post. Wasn't meant as harsh as it read.

Different opinions are what this place is all about and at least you will argue your POV intelligently (mostly! )

USMartin wrote:I have shown the proff that we should want to know more.

The simple truth is you are afraid to know more, and have the objectivity of some religious fanatic more concrnned with defending your faith in the Board than the best interests of the club.

And you don't have the proof, and don't have the courage to say so. I doesn't take long to prodice the proof at all - you don''t have it and can't admit it.

If you thought you had the proof you'd be more than happy to share it as you have shown before. You don't have that proof now but can't just admit that.
   I've only just read this gem from yesterday.

Just a few points martin.....

1. I'm not afraid of knowledge (derrr)
2. comparing me to a religious fanatic is a bit rich coming from you
3. I do have the best interests of the club at heart
4. I have no proof at all that AW is chosing not to spend money
5. I'm not afraid to admit it, ffs

I gave my honest opinion that AW is choosing not to spend.

Your post in response is utter, utter bollocks. Fucking hilarious.
