Carling Cup Final Tickets

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Matty - Say someone gives you a ticket for the shirt and you've great day put at Wembley. Following that we make it to the FA Cup final, what would you be actually willing to give then?

Because of the cost of seats/location?

I wasn't impressed with the upper tier so will be hoping for lower.

If they've all gone I ain't paying £70+ for the crap remaining seats including up stairs.
I know its a final and yes I've love to go but its only the C/C. I can always watch it on TV. If this was the FA cup this would be a different matter.

Also there's a time limit. Bit like when a home game goes from Silvers to red. The standbys are the registeration red members. if you get my drift? :?
I may be wrong, but I think all the tickets in the lower tier were £70+. That's what we've paid behind the goal, and they were £86 towards the halfway line. Methinks the cheaper tickets are all upstairs. No?

Also - best chance of getting a ticket at this stage is surely from Birmingham. Is no-one trying that route? I don't think I've ever been to a Wembley final where there hasn't been a decent number of supporters in the wrong end and I can't ever recall it being a problem.....

I got fairly near the front upstairs for 38 notes. I know there's a risk with the atmosphere maybe not being brilliant but the view will be pretty decent and for that kind of money you really can't complain.

So was anybody put on Standby or Unsuccessful?
