Carling Cup Touts

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

you always hear of fakes going on ebay....
obviously id want to swap it for a ticket and id much rather it go to another gooner as i know its real as all obtained by myself, i have no possible way of proving this, but thats why prices are so low on ebay. which doesnt help me trying to swap mine for a ticket either....

Mat - I will take you up on your offer of a shirt for the ticket

However I will require you to get Megan Fox to stay at my flat for the night wearing the shirt and some crotchless undies.

I am on the England fans as well but I stopped going for a while. John Terry, Gerrard, Cashley, Defoe - Can't bring myself aroud to cheer them on.

Thank god the 6 nations is here. Can't wait for England to thrash the Oirish, Welsh and the Scots
Nah, didn't make that one (or Ukraine  ) but did the other aways, and have done Switzerland this time and got my ticket for Wales- also doing the Denmark friendly and was going to get time off work to go Thailand away but I see they cancelled it!

It is a bit difficult to cheer some players on, but I can generally manage it. I couldnt cheer Andy Carroll when he came on, but I managed fine jumping around like a lunatic whenever Shearer scored for England!

Staying up north (central Scotland) I find Wembley is a hassle, no easier to get to than the away games but like I say, dreadful atmosphere. Load of plastic fans sat there and against Croatia at home I was sat with me dad and we had stewards literally staring right up at us the full game, I think because some lads a couple of rows back actually stood and sang occasionally  Hardly worth the effort tbh, so my caps are going to suffer because I reclon i'll just do what a lot of people do and just go to the away games, much better trip than the home matches and thanks to Martin Isaacs (who you have probably met, most England fans know him!) its always easy to plan away games since him and the north of the border branch always travel

A tout is a tout - whatever one has to do to justify it is for their own peace of mind - it's still a cunting practice....oh, and before anyone starts moaning about tourists diluting the atmosphere, just realise it might be one of your mates who's partly responsible.
