As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I think it is brilliant, my mate is a ST holder at Eastlands and he says at the Wolves game recently the whole ground were doing it for the third goal, and then Wolves did it too when they pulled one back.
But, there is zero chance of it happening in N5 : It is far too much fun.
Oh err does that mean I have to touch the person sitting next to me, he might not of washed that day or even worse come staright from work how digusting. Would Arsenal suppy plastic gloves for me to wear and some handwash after.
I think it looks quality when done properly but I find the whole way they nicked it from Lech a bit cringeworthy, especially since they were ripping the piss outta them for it when they came to Eastlands. Still, fair play to em I guess....
I think if you nick something from a non-English team it is fair game ; If you nick some other song or celebration etc from another English team then it is a bit embarassing as Dan says.
I would love it to take off, but I would have to compare it to 'Jump up if you're one nil up!' which has always been good in Block 6 but has never spread further than blocks 5/7, no matter what game or what the score was.
Some may disagree, but I just think the vast majority of our fans are waaaaay too serious for this.

It 'belongs' to City (or from one of their euro oppo) so me thinks us copying it not good...
I think the one we have at the Grove already is more unique .Lots of fans don't turn their back on play they just leave their seats vacant for the first and last 10 minutes of games...
