The Sun Today...

Apart from page 3  anyone see page 28 ( back page) of the sport pullout? The Paul Sherwood Column, if not heres a quote " WARNING to all Blackburn fans ahead of their trip to the emirates next monday. Arsenal Fans will be observingtheir usual 90-minute silence" I wonder if hes ever been to a game? I think our Home support is getting better along with our away support- which has been brilliant last few games.

p.s anyone wishing to e-mail paul sherwood its

Adam i serious don't blame him for the comments he made bout our support
It sounds dead whenever MOTD is on & as a person who sits quite near block 5 it's not that great of support
I want the fans to improve even more, i admit that Spurs can have the best support at home but as you said the away one is the bollocks 8)

I thought that the atmosphere was much improved last tuesday.

I'll be there next monday and won't be making it a silence.

As for e-mailing him - I really wouldn't dignify that shit rag with my attention

I definately think it helps when the team is doin well as AW sez it's not just up to the fans to inspire the team but vice-versa, and we haven't exactly had a lot to be positive about in the previous two years cos we knew we weren't quite there yet, whereas in the Invincibles season the atmosphere at most of the games was excellent, and IMO the atmosphere at a lot of other grounds is vastly overrated!

To be fair, our home games are really really quiet. But to be even fairer, anyone who has ever been to Ewood Park knows that we piss all over them atmos wise. Maybe if more than 3000 of their fans bothered to turn up to their home games they might make a bit of noise. They have one of the most embarrasing home crowd's in the country, even worse considering they are one of only four PL winners, so one of them slagging off our atmos is almost as stupid as when Mark Hughes asked the CC ref to protect his players against our "bully boys".

God I hate blackburn, everything about them and their shit town

Hughes is a promising manager and has done a wonderful job with blackburn on limited resources but there is no getting away from it - the bloke is a cock.

Atmosphere

Post by Sutch »

in fact I think the atmosphere has been rather quite good this season compard to last, last season in the small games it was rubbish, for example, the 3-1 against fulham at home was absolutely appaling after fulham scored, it was really good when we were 1-0 up, but fuck i was pissed off last season about that.

And also, this season it has been extraordinary, for example, I went to the 1-1 vs Birmingham (brummie *word censored*) and even after birmingham scored we were still outsinging them with ARSENAL! COME ON ARSENAL! and AND IT'S ARSENAL!!

when we were losing to scums and manure at home this season the atmosphere was fantastic. amazing.

COME ON ARSENAL.YES!

Surely the author was being tongue in cheek? Trying a clever pun which might have been funny in a different context but in the context of the Man Utd 50 year remembrance just isn't.
