"The Poznan"

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We like to ask Arsene to wave at us and that is as wild as it gets.

Jokes aside we do need to do something for the Barca game. Cant we do the whistles again?
Trust me, there will be plenty going on at the Barca game.

I have been involved in the plans around lighting / holograms / flags etc and it all looks great.
Great stuff mate!!! Anything I can do to help let me know. I stand in front of “the noiseâ€

Thats not going to catch on @ AG. Where will they put their sandwiches and hot cocoa when jumping about? Maybe the club should provide butlers to hold them while we lark around with the common folk.

Paying what I pay and then turning my back to the pitch - yeah that sounds clever.

Nice to see the Sun seems to be leading the way on fuckwit copycat behaviour again.

Though give it 12 months and it wont be let's all 'do the Poznan'. It'll be let's all 'do the Nova' cos were sick of paying extortionate fees to Sky.

News International won't like that, but hey shit happens!

some one put on the comments page

Best fans I've seen this year where the Bursapor fans at United. They were in 2 columns and as one set jumped up and down the other stood still, when they finished jumping the others started and vice versa for about half hour!

my mate whos a season ticket holder at united showed me this on his phone he filmed for about five minutes, absolute class.

i think the poznan and the above could catch on around the corner in the north bank but may be difficult in other areas

lets all do the poznan
lets all do the poznan
na na na na

This is common too, AEK Athens do it better than any other fans i've seen. You can see it on here from about 3.45 onwards; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxkvC64-W2E

Courtesy of Ruch Chorzow, I'd like to see this at The Grove too, the health & safety nuts would go mental lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89TtNtVzVhk

I quite like when we score in big games the whole crowd stands up with with the scarves. Give me tingles that.

Fuck this nonsense.

In block 6 everyone was going crazy and jumoing around. After a while i looked over to the clock end and saw all the scarfs!

Love moments like that. So far at the Grove there hasnt been many. More to come though

'The Poznan' my arse!!!

The Greek fans of Panathininaikos and AEK Athens have been doing this for 15 years, as have the fans of AEL Limassol and APOEL Nicosia! and many many other greek and cypriot fans do the same!

And yep, its alot of fun! :barscarf:

exactly . Its not even called the poznan. :?

another reason to hate city. their fans v poznan saw them do it and sang "what the fockin hell is that"? now they're all doing it . fine in poland, greece or latin america but when you've got lower middle class english home fans doing it it just looks a bit...lame. like when man utd fans had the flare v citeh.
all you see is 8 surrey united fans wearing hoodies jumping around like specky twats

in england these things just don't work. however I do like the odd bounce 8)

Personally I think it would be embarrassing if we attempted to start doing it. 1. Because we are copying City. 2. Because only a couple of block will do it. :banghead:

But, there is zero chance of it happening in N5 : It is far too much fun.
N5? that's a block of flats. I thought the ground was in N7 now?
