Why didt you or LDB get the ticket?
We're not sure because **** was lying

Well if he has an unwanted ticket then its perfectly possibly that he is genuine, as long as he is willing to sell at face value + postage.

What is it about Sarah Beeney......? She's no supermodel but I know exactly where you're coming from. I think I'd give you my CC Final ticket for 10 mins with her  !

I don't blame anyone for grabbing out at the slightest chance of a ticket!

When we got to the CL Final was about the same time as getting a season ticket for the first time. Got chatting to the guy in the ticket office and he said that I could have the CL ticket that he was getting from the club and gave me his mobile number. Lost count of the number of times I called the guy, hastling him. Nothing came of it - although I did consider reporting him to the club (for being a tease?) but never did!

Then I emailed the club saying that I was sure that they must have had some single tickets left and that would be fine and I'd been going for years blah, blah. No response.

And then on the drive down to Paris one of the other blokes in the car finally tracked down a ticket for me and for a couple of hours I was finally going to get to the game. Then the call came that they'd given it to someone else.....

So I don't blame anyone for holding out hope....even though they should be realistic enough to know that 9 times out of 10 its probably going to be a wind up or a scam  !

If its like this now, wonder what its like if we get to Wembley again for a bigger match.

How many credits would you need for say Fa cup or CL final

Not being funny, but everyone knew (or should have known) at the start of the season that cup finals would be season ticket plus x number of away credits. Having a season ticket on it's own was always just going to be a passport to the ballot.

Cynical maybe, but if you've got an ST and don't go to away games then you still need to make sure that you keep the away match credits ticking over.

Times running out of course but if you just missed out on the CC final with 2 then I would aim to reach 5 as soon as you can to stand a fighting chance of the FA or CL finals..... sods law that after having a few barren years we end up getting to more than one final in the same season!

I wonder if the "cup final policy" of 3+ away credits will change if we get to another big final this season?

Yeah, I know what you mean, I thought that about my chances of getting an Ipswich away ticket, but there are some genuine guys out there

I think it would.

How many gold members have 3+ or away ST and therefore guaranteed a ticket? Maybe 16,000? That means there were 16,000 tickets going into the ballot and maybe a 50-75% chance of being successful.

If the same thing were to happen for the FA or CL finals you would end up with only 6,000 tickets in the ballot and a success rate dropping to 15-25% i.e. the bulk would be pissed off!

I think it much more likely that the club would up the criteria to 5, 6, or 7+ so as they still have enough tickets for the ballot.

Seriously mate? No chance, thats a tout site that may not even have tickets and even so 300 quid plus for any game is disgusting.

Unless it was something once in a lifetime nearly like the Champions League final, I could understand in a way. But I wouldnt advise anyone to pay those prices.

You'd probably get a better deal outside the game anyway.
