Was talking with my West Ham mate the other day and he was bemoaning how poor their defence was. I said to him that ours was almost as bad, to which he claimed that I must be joking. But I told him that despite our position in the table, I don't relax unless there are 5 minutes left and we are 3 goals up - and that five minutes includes injury time!! He laughed at me and said I must be exaggerating but I assured him I wasn't. Little did I know that I would be proved right so soon!!

I'm sorry but bad referee or not, there are just no excuses for giving away a 4 goal lead. The fact it's never been done before in premiership history, or indeed our own illustrious history, says it all.

I have an idea - anyone fancy putting a tenner on us fucking up at least another 3 goal lead this season. We'd have to get a bookie to quote us - if we each put a tenner on collectively - 100 of us would make a Â£1000 bet.
