As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The leap of faith required to accept that all those decisions were pure incompetence is too much.
The club should be making a formal complaint against this guy,
He has previous this season, Sunderland away?, Remember the "magical" 30 seconds he added on top of the 4 minutes injury time when they equalised?. He also Sent one of our players off that day too.
The wont, this club has no bollocks from boardroom to manager to players.
Theres a reason referees always fuck us over and not Ferguson. And it certainly isnt money.
His performance needs serious reviewing. Suspension at least. But no the referees demand respect and their word is final. Unfortunately in the real world respect is earned.

Dowd is without a doubt a useless *word censored* (always felt he looks a ringer for norman wisdom and now he refs like him ) but there is no way a team at any level should blow a 4 goal lead like that I think blaming dowd is to some degree a nice sidestep from focusing on our own inept players and manager
If I was Phil Dowd......I would be totally pissed off with a ridiculously bad performance, or..........looking forward to a happy brown envelope funded retirement.
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere on Twitter: "[After Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal]. Inconsistent refereeing needs to stop. It's killing the game. If Diaby is sent off, what's the difference between that and Kevin Nolan's challenge on our keeper!??"

The FA will have him for that.
Nice to know at least one of the players is hurting after that debacle.
48 year old Phil Dowd who signed a one day contract as a replacement for Andy Carroll provided 2 assisits on his debut in a thriling 4-4 draw at St.james park

Spot on!!! I'd be embarrassed if any amateur side I played for let a 4-0 lead slip - regardless of incompetent officials and dodgy decisions!!

Too many players fcuking about on the likes of twitter when they should be focusing their attention elsewhere - after the debacle/collapse v the scum I wasnt able to talk to anybody for 4 or 5 hours afterwards yet jack feels it appropriate to be on a social network 90 mins after this shit ?
