worried about the Barcelona visit

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

worried about the Barcelona visit

Post by jrthgooner »

With the news that Djourou is out for a month (thats probably 2 months given how quickly our players recover!!) we have 2 centre halves who will be given a real run around in at least the first leg, possibly the second as well if noone is recovered enough to play.

Song is not a good option in there as he does not track runners well (Denilson and given the Barcelona style he will be doing a lot of that.

I will be pleased if we keep them to below 3 and that will involve our keeper having a blinder and their forwads an off day!!

I would love to think we have a chance but just can't find a reason to!!

The aggregate score for Barca in this game will hit double figures.

It seems to be popping up in a few places on the internet at the moemnt.

If Barcelona don't get more than 6 as an aggregate score we would have done well

There is no need to worry when you know the chance of us beating Barca is so slim

I worry that they will wipe the floor with us and score so many goals it becomes embarrasing for us. Our fragile confidence could take a real dent and affect us in every competition we are still in

Is it just me that’s not worried in the slightest about Barca?

I am more worried about Wolves to be honest and loosing more points to shite teams like Wolves and Stoke.

With the squad we have we wont beat Barca. Will be an amazing night but over 2 legs we have no chance.

Lets keep things in perspective here.

Barca = top night, great atmosphere , amazing footballers and a big piss up

That is all

I'm not worried about it, i've known since the draw was made we're gonna lose. I just hope it's not too embarassing (8/9/10-0 etc  ) but I am a bit concerned about a potential implosion in the league should we get hammered...

This is true. and Mikey's post.

As for Songs tracking its only as good (or bad) as squishy's.

Dun worry man. Our confidence has already taken a real dent when we know we are going to face them (again)
