As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I'm not ginger but I think you are a bit of a prick and are the type of person who would accuse of racism if the same thing was posted about skin colour rather than hair colour. think about it...

OK, I'll delete all the "offensive" pictures that I posted. Didn't wanna cause any offence and it wasn't me who started it anyway.

One of my daughters is ahem........auburn and I can see the joke in it!
Really hope we are not going to get daftly politically correct one here!
End of a lot of fun if we do!
Alright Gus,
Its the Ginger kids ghelp find a cure stuff that i think is a bit much. Imagine if it said black kids - help find a cure, or asian kids - help find a cure, there would be uproar!
I don't mind as long as the playing field is level. Which it clearly isn't.
And, i wish your lovely daughter well. Comments about stamping out the ginger gene etc could be hurtful to her though, no?
Well I think it's all goin a bit far, I mean where will it stop, I was watchin a stand-up comedian a couple of months back makin jokes out of the fact that he was ginger and bein stupid enough to grow a beard, goin on to say "can you imagine that??? the only acceptable form of racism left on the planet and I grew it on my face" ........... and what about girls, will they no longer be able to admit to havin a blonde moment???

I would rather bring my daughter up so she can tel the difference between genuine discrimination and tongue in cheek humour and baiting to be honest!
I have long known that she is going to have some teasing but have also long known she has the kind of hair every other girl wants!
So all I will say is that whatever taunts she gets as lomg as they are light-hearted and she gives back as good as she gets in the same light-hearted manner then I have no problem!
I laughed at ginge jokes before and I laugh now at ginger jokes even though Ella is technicaally a "ging"! She will grow up knowing that having red hair has nothing to do with racism as it is only comparable to idiots!
I have never heard of ginger people not being allowed on buses or being burnt at the stake!
She has a beautiful hair colour! End of story! To suggest it is along the same lines as centuries of racism is causing an arguement for arguements sake!
