Create your own banners!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

A good opportunity to get your banners into the stadium.

They'll only make you take them down as they'll "offend" someone. Not having nationalities on flags when we've got more nations playing for us than in the UN? What the fuck's that all about?

Good initiative, hopefully plenty of people will get involved. I've got a few bits i'd like to get printed once i've got some spare cash. They don't really fit the size specs the club are after though & tbh i'd quite like to do it independently of the club so I can take em to different games & grounds as I wanted...

And on a geekier point, i'd love to be on the team at AFC that are receiving these submissions. I bet they're gonna get some horrific tiny little low-res monstrosities made in MS Paint or something

where does it say anything about no nationalities? I would have thought that most of the overseas supporters clubs will want to incorporate their flags on any banners, and i have never noticed any objection from the club about the 'united colours' banner?

Couldnt we have banners/messages scrolling around the advertising boards during the game.

"That was offside you blind *word censored*"
"The Wanker dived ref"
"Bendtner the goal is that way"
"Just fucking run with it Theo"
"SHOOOOOOOooooooooooot"

from four four two:

By their own high standards, Galatasaray are having a wretched season – currently sitting in eighth place in Turkey’s Super Lig. But at least their fans now hold the record for the longest ever banner at a football match – a 315-metre effort unveiled last weekend. (For comparison, their pitch is 105m long.) It read: “106 years of history, unrivalled achievements, a team whose museum boasts twice as many cups as their rivals, Turkey's most successful team against non-Turkish opposition, pride of its country, owner of a UEFA and European Super Cup, the pride of the world’s biggest fan group UltrAslan, a mark of culture since 1481, the cradle of sport since 1905: Galatasaray.â€

How about an x-ray of a spine and the slogan: "Wanted, some fucking backbone."
