Carling Cup Final Tickets
Got 2 out of 3 required from ballot and resorted to a source of Club Wembley tickets to fill the gap. £150 each but comfy seats, more space and guaranteed a good view (and hopefuly lots of prawn sandwiches).
Legitimately transferred (our name on tickets) but owner can charge what they like. In the Birmingham end though Club Wembley is supposed to be neutral.

Was he emailed Boomer? Didn't see this new category of applicants in the original blurb. AFC struggling to sell tickets?!Boomer wrote:I'd like to know this as well. Now that the time period for all the successful have gone and with tickets presumably still left the original 'standby' are now 'successful' with the 'unsuccessful' being upgraded to standby.
I was hoping with many scrambling around for tickets that many standbys and unsuccessful would have already got tickets via other means....here's hoping.

Just seen Basil's answer....the club emailed on Friday.

I just called the club but the answer (I think I heard this correctly) is in the automated message.Basil is a Gooner wrote:Are the new "successful" people able to buy this am as the new "standby" people can buy this afternoon, or are we all in it together?
I wonder how many people got upgraded and how many tickets there are between us!
Standbys now successful have until 9am until 12pm on Monday the 14th of Feb.

Yeah but if you were originally Unsuccessful but have now been promoted to Standby and then you get a ticket and so become Successful but then the ticket gets lost in the post do you then become Unsuccessful until the replacement gets sent out to you or are you on Standby again until the replacement is received or............
