BARCA HOME GAME THREAD
It may be media or Barca spin but it seems they are genuinely worried about us. Resting players, cancelling training sessions as players are too tired. Guardiola fears Arsenal Fury and we are stronger than when we played them last season. People seem to forget we had 6 1st teamers absent from last season 2nd leg. Can they really play at the same level they played against Real madrid against us over two legs?
I think a home leg win 3-1 and an away draw will see us through. Nasri and TV5 could well be available for 2nd leg.

Its not comparible to last years tie. Arsenal have weaknesses, eboue at right back arshavin or diaby playing on the left. but barca arent exactly perfect defensively.
Alves and abidal can be got at, theos inclusion from the start this time (not to forget a completely different player to that of 12 months ago) will have them concerned, his inclusion alone will keep their defence 10 yards further back, i just hope he doesnt get lost trying to help out eboue all the time.
Midfield is probably the biggest difference from last season, song HAS to sit no matter what, jack will be all over the pitch the guy bleeds arsenal and he wont have no fucker come to his home and take the piss without a fight. then theres captain cesc, 100% fit no words are needed.
No wait! the biggest difference.
RVP - half a chance the balls in the onion bag,
This is not the same arsenal they destroyed, and in the camp nou it will be an even better arsenal with sagna and nasri back. Keep the fucking faith

Im genuinely excited and canna no weet for Wednesday. Like some people are saying if we have a right go at them like chelski at xmas then why cant we beat them? Hight tempo, press them all over the pitch and suffocate messi (which I believe JD is well equipped to do).
I seem to remember at the grove last year messi actually had a relatively quet game whilst Ibrohimavic (spelling) posed all the danger. Well they dont have him anymore, and have Villa instead.
The game will look and feel entirely differnt to the last encounter (i.e. no gallas, silvestre, almunia) and im genuinly optimistic that we can pull something out of the bag.

Those cnuts are shitting themselves. No training because they're too tired. No Puyol in the defence. Their back four isn't all that. Alves is good going forward but is nothing at the back. Pique is an average centre back and Abidal will be the other centre half. Walcott will keep their left back occupied all night long.
Barce will be bricking it before they even step out of the tunnel because of the atmosphere and Xavi, Pique etc are going to get it in the neck from the home support every touch they have.
We have a strong team and we're nearly all fully fit for once. I'm optimistic and well up for it, just a shame I don't have a ticket haha

We have a chance if we go at them yeah, but i don't our back line has seen anything like the sustained movement and pressure they will bring when they have the ball. i don't think they will have liked seeing RVPs recent form though.worthing_gooner wrote:Those cnuts are shitting themselves.
