Another good call. Am assuming you're referring to the FA Cup Semi-Final in 2005? That was fucking immense. Probably prefer that to the Charlton goal, come to think of it.
No not that one, the one at Highbury I think it was in the 05/06 season?
The twisting and turning one on the right, when he cut in and fired it into the top corner? He beat about three men lol that twas a great strike

Yes, that's a good choice. Strange, as it was highly lauded at the time (and maybe even won goal of the season?), yet has seemingly been forgotten about - at least by the media - ever since. Hardly ever see it on TV, or even spoken about.
seem to remember it wasn't goal of the season. the bbc asked leonardo at the world cup to pick goal of the season but he chose a counter attack goal by united which wasn't that special and we've seen many similar ones.

There's a few pretty bloody good goals which have been forgotten about.

Reyes v Chelsea the screamer from outside the box was a brilliant brilliant strike and I thought we had a real player on our hands then.

Also, Eduardo v Burnley, this was a couple of weeks after coming back from injury and the technique, run, pass and finish were all superb:

All those goals against Liverpool in the unbeaten season after getting knocked out the FA Cup & Champs Lge in the space of a few days.

That was the day I just knew we were destined to win the league. God knows what would have happened if we had lost that Liverpool game.

How good was Rosicky back then, he'd belt them in from long range on a regular basis before his injury.

I actually think our second at the weekend is underated, probably because it fell in the same weekend as Shreks but the one touch counter attack we played for that goal was something else

I seem to remember Ian Wright scoring a 30-40 yard lob at Swindon as well which hardly gets a mention.

Was that the same game as Henry scored a quality goal too where he just punted it from the half way line and gave Carragher a 10 yard head start? That was pretty damn good too.

Talking of Wrighty, I always loved that goal he scored against Everton when he juggled the ball over Matt Jackson I think before lobbing Neville Southall.
