Arshavins Goal

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Erm, as I leaped my remote fell on the ground and duly pressed 666 continously as the sky buttons got stuck. Took me 2-3 minutes to get my coverage back

Chucked beer everywhere. Shouted massively. Got spots in front of my eyes.

Best thing for me though was my own Dad got involved with the celebration. He is a big Arsenal fan but usually has a subdued celebration when we score/win - even sadly in block 6. Tonight he was bellowing away. Both of us contributed enough to get my Mum to just walk up to bed (she spent her whole childhood on the old Clock End but somehow is a ****...boooo!)

Time stood still between the time he hit it and the time the net bulged. I honestly lost track of the ball from the moment he struck it, so was in a momentary limbo which lasted far longer than it actually was in real-time!

I went all like wide eyed and deaf(maybe I deafened myself because I screamed so loud - mind you it was a deep manly scream mind you not a girly one  ) but I went down on my knees in front of the tv and my pint went AWOL and all over the wall and the ceiling....the Cat (Gooner) freaked and ran upstairs...I then had to do the old 'double check' to make sure that neither the cuntref nor his bitchlinesman hadn't flagged for something, then...I REALLY LET RIP!!!

"Every Now And Then Life Is Just Sooooooooo "SWEET" :high5:  :corkbarry: :D  :barscarf:

The same. I know I tried to shout something like "get the fuck in" at the end of it but I had no air left in my lungs & no words came out!

Saw the game at the Student's Union here at uni. 100+ Arsenal fans and 10 or so Barca fans, only two of which were actually Spanish.

When the second goal when in I ran up to one of the English lads supporting Barca who had been giving it big all game, shoved the Arsenal badge on my scarf in his face and shouted something which resembled words!
