A Cauldron of noise at The Grove BBC report

A Cauldron of noise at The Grove BBC report

Post by Almunia is a clown »

Some media are actually reporting the noise made by our support last night, well done to those that were there!!! :barscarf: Sounded great on TV

I've not been going home games (only some aways) last two seasons, atmosphere being one of the reason's but would have to reconsider if the support contines to improve!!!! And spend some money on the squad...........and get rid of Coco the Clown....................!

Well Done!!!!!!

The atmosphere was great. Arguebly the best at the Grove!?

It's great to be able to add this game to the Groves short history. A night to remember.

Having said that I won't be expecting the same atmosphere when we play Stoke next. That's a bump back to the earth Stoke!
It wouldn't surprise me to find a vacant seat next to me again!

It was great, especially the last 10 minutes. When Arshavin smashed that one in there were just bodies. Tbh even Andy Townsed mentioned how great it was, and thats something!

Robin Van Persie, and Andre Arshavin have both said how great the atmosphere was.

Also, credit should go to Redaction for helping to create it-well done to you all!

Just shows how much better the atmosphere is when all the season ticket holders and silver members turn up rather than selling on their tickets to the unwashed

It was simply incredible, undoubtedly the best at The Grove and simply put one of the best nights I've had as an Arsenal fan. Even if we don't go through we should still be proud of the players for providing us with that spectacle. Still on cloud 9  :barscarf: 8)

My ears are still ringing now. Its just my luck that i manage to sit / stand in front of the only two people in the stadium who wernt interested in joining in and were asking me to sit down. ha ha they got pointed and laughed at pretty swiftly and soon shut the fuck up.

I was particularily proud when barca scored and we just ramped up the nosie even more to gee up the lads. Wish we could muster that positive spirit a bit more when the team goes down instead of the usual abuse thats hurled, and does no good for anyone.

Im sure when we play Stoke next week, everyone will have to leave 10 minutes early unlike last night. Was weird not hearing people say "excuse me mate".

If we do beat the O's, I think the atmosphere will be decent. The return of Shawtoss, Pulis and co and a chance to get within 1 of Man Yoo.

The stewards should have kicked them out FFS even the normally quite sedate old girl that sits next to me was singing her heart out and joining in with all the chants.

Why can't we turn it on like this more...if we're within touching distance of the manc scum on the 30th April then we should be doing the same thing and make it a cauldron of noise....after AA23's goal it was the best night at the Grove.

Oh we will. This season the crowd has really lifted the players in a lot of games. Look at Chelsea / Everton even Man City , it was brilliant
