Jack Wilshere

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I dream of a midfield with Jack, Cesc and Rambo  (and without Diaby and Denilson)

Jack Wilshere is the only reason I did not turn my back on football completely this season.

I rate that mother fuckers potential to become great as high as any player I have seen in my years watching football.

He puts Song and the other established midfielders to shame playing the holding role better than any of them. It's amazing that such an attack-minded young player has the brain to do it whereas other more senior pros do not.

Listening to talksport tonight their Spanish corespondent(some English bloke) said that the Spanish have known about Jack for a while now but it was Szczesny that they were most impressed with how he stood upto Messi and gave the defence more confidence than when they play with Amunia in goal

on todays market hes already worth £30m, but if he adds more goals and assists in the future (and he will) were talking serious money, that only citeh or the 2 spanish clubs could afford. hopefully we dont have to, or want to sell, hes a gem :barscarf:
