Orient

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Tip for all those going over to Orient.

If you pop round the back of the main stand on Oliver Road. On the other side of the road is an astroturf pitch.

There is an old man who sits just out side the gates to the pitch, telling amazing tales of all that he has seen over the years.

You may hear about the time he witnessed the highest scoring amateur game ever, 54-53.

You may hear about the time he was asked to play in goal to fill up the numbers and at 85 years of age saved 3 penalites in the second half.

Just make sure you pay attention when he casts his mind back to the day the Online Gooner XI rolled into town, for you will hear of a man. Made originally from flesh and bone but over the years had become formed more from metal plates and scar tissue. This man had a love for football, but football shared no such passion for him. He could not enter the field of play without having to leave moments later with yet another injury.

He will whisper this man's name, for to speak it out loud could summon his very essence to the pitch because on the day the Online Gooner XI came to play, DB10Gooner managed to get through a whole game in one piece.

One metalic, scarred, limping piece.

With Djourou out the start of the team sheet is a worrying read.

I'd guess AW will opt with the 'cup keeper' system.
So in comes Almunia.
Sagna's back but I guess Eboue will get the nod.
Then Squilachi. :( :banghead:

I don't want to go any further as i'm sure Denilson will be in there somewhere.

I'd keep Wojcech in goal. It's not as though goalies need rest as such and he is far more likely to boss Squillaci and LK6 into shape. And if he plays someone like Ignasi Miguel then even more improtant to have a commanding presence in goal.

Eboue at RB Gibbs at LB

Denilson

(someone else like Ramsey, Lansbury, Eastmond...oh forgot they're on loan ffs!)
Song

Rosicky

Bendy - Arshavin
Chamakh
