I've only just noticed this thread and it's taken me about half an hour to read it, so here's my tuppenny's worth, I have stuck up for Senderos since he came to us, hoping that he was just like TA who took a while to reveal his true worth but Big Phil has been at the club since 2003 which means he's been under the tutelage of possibly the best coach in world football for 5 years and I think it's pretty clear that if he hasn't made it by now then he's not going to, and there's little doubt that AW sees little room for much more improvement as he has definately slipped down the pecking order!
I don't dislike the guy either and apparently he speaks 5 languages or somethin, he's got a fantastic attitude is as brave as a lion on the pitch and shows total commitment to the shirt and there's no doubt and little surprise that he improves with a run of games, but that's not much use if you are only a cover player but there is simply no gettin away from the fact that he is very error prone, sluggish, clumsy, flat-footed, wooden, predictable, a poor passer, and has the turnin circle of a large moon, and his only consistency is his vulnerability in certain areas which strikers find all too easy to exploit, bottom line is that he also scares the shit out of me and every single Arsenal fan I know amongst who he has gained the nickname, cloven-hoof

I think senderos done really well last night, didnt look any different to in an arsenal shirt, gave the ball away on numerous occasions, got a good tackle in here n there, went down holding his shin then got up and was fine for about half hour *of game play* after that, so for me his the same for club n country...
