I don't begrudge Orient celebrating a draw - it has earnt their club a massive payday and the players a trip to Vegas courtesy of Hearn.

As already stated several times too many of our "best ever squad" are patently either not good enough or just can't be bothered enough to beat the likes of Ipswich, Leeds, were very lucky v Huddesfield and today v Orient.

Lansbury has shown an infinate amount more desire and passion in his brief appearnces for us and also impressed mightily during his loan spell at Norwich that Arsene cannot fail to see him as a better option that Denilson, surely..........hmm

Almunia is only still at the club due to the injury to Fabianski but all he had to do was block the shot, with any part of his body for gods sake :banghead:

From where we were in the stands, there was no indication that Almunia was at fault for the goal. Just looked like a well driven shot.

The performance was just flat, no spark from midfield. We were crying out for width and Gibbs just didn't look like he wanted to get forward and when he did Chamakh fluffed it.

The young lad Miquel looked ok against this level but time will tell. Chamakh was a shadow of his early season form and we just went sideways and pretty stuff as usual. Nobody to unlock the door and nothing up top.

No doubt we'll win the replay 5-0 but frustrating yet again.

Funnily enough I will be a little more restrained in my criticism's than most on here this evening

What can one say about below average al ? He is without a doubt the most useless *word censored* we have had in our goals for the last 30 years  Sell the *word censored* last january ? Who the fcuk would pay money for the *word censored* ? :banghead:

As individuals I thought most players did ok today but the real problem was the arrogance/lack of a killer instinct. In wengerland our players are taught to treasure the ball and retain possession but more often than not it is passing for the sake of passing with no real purpose or cutting edge :x In years gone by when we would take the lead we would kill the game off either by pushing on and adding more goals or by shutting up shop at the back and these are things that these players are incapable of doing :(

Not exactly breaking news but wenger's stubborness is fcuking killing us - how many times does he need to see our B team play together to know that they are not good enough especially when the lose to ipswich and are unable to beat leeds, wigan, two average champs lge teams and now add orient to that list  Does he continue to play them together to stick 2 fingers up at the fans who slate them ? Does he continue to play almunia cos he knows we hate him ? Does he make him captain to really wind everybody up ? The bottom line is that this is his team and his players and if he cannot see how shit some of them are or cannot motivate them to beat teams from lower divisions then it is a fcuking disgrace :banghead:

From where i was stood it looked like it went through Almunia's legs, which it seems from replays it did. The guy is effing useless. No debate about that.

What I don't understand is why Wenger didn't make any subs. At 70 mins we were always vulnerable yet as usual he is far too reactive. It was a bit like Wigan away a couple of months back. You could almost predict it. The irony of all of this is that Wenger won us the match vs Barca with an inspired subsitution. Here he lost us the game by not making any.

Had Wenger brought on Nasri, Wilshire, Fabregas with 20 minutes to go, and they got injured you would have been going mental as too why Wenger brought them on when 1-0 up against a League 1 side ?

What if they get injured in the 90 minute replay?

It was a sobering reality check after the highs of midweek - was always going to be a tough game imo

We could of made subs, but if im honest, id rather have fresh legs for pulis and the anti football clan

Did Wenger worry about Cesc getting injured when he brought him on v Leeds and Huddersfield?

THE FUNNIEST THING I SAW AT ORIENT TODAY WAS THAT OF WATCHING THAT BIG FAT AMERICAN WHO WILL NOT BE NAMED UNABLE TO SHOVE HER BIG FAT BUTT THROUGH THE TURNSTILE C

SHE HAD TO ASK A STEWARD TO OPEN GATE 3 SO SHE COULD GET IN

ALSO AT HALF TIME TWO GOONERS WERE THROWN OUT....AND SHE WAS INVOLVED....

Don't begrudge Orient a big payday - albeit that we're the ones who'll be paying....

We're still in the cup and got away without having to bring on the big guns, so all in all I guess we have to be happy. And it'll hopefully provide an instant opportunity for the club to parade the Carling Cup (fingers crossed!).

He continues to play them because, and he'll never admit it, he's absolutely shit scared of injuries to our decent players. Deep down he knows that if he sticks Cesc, Nasri, Walcott, Jack & co out and some or all of them get injured he's left with the likes of Denilson, Rosicky, Squillaci etc and we're screwed for the league run-in/CL etc. He knows that we can just about scrape through the season if Cesc & co are kept fit but without them we'll very possibly drop outside the top 4.

It all comes back around to his reluctance to spend & reinforce the squad with real, proven quality & experience.
