Nothing else planned. Officially, REDaction only organise things for home games, but were asked to provide the flag design (via Dan) for Sunday. You should have seen the first 'official' draft, it had Nike ticks and Emirates A380 planes on it!

The plan is to then to take ownership of the flag to take over from the 'UNITED COLOURS' one for home games.
Really??? The new flag is top class even has the cannon facing the right way :barscarf:

Well, I am astonished they have allowed the use of the old school cannon, a victory over the marketing and legal departments for a change.

Could that be partly because the old badges had no copyright?
I could understand if the Club prefered you to change the Cannon but would the club be (legal) able to force you to change it?

Just had a ganders at some of the Brum boards....

One insignificant point but one they felt the need to comment on is that the new Wembley tuff (the re-lay one) is the same woven 'stuff' as that of the Grove.

A few have been mildly optimistic but are going to 'enjoy the day'.
That's hope we can enjoy it more!

A point which I'd thought of and was half mentioned was 'Wembely nerves'.
Brum wouldn't be really concerned about their position in the league and although still in the FA cup haven't had much else to think about. Also the fact they have had a weeks rest also means they've had a week to stew and think about the final.
Apart from the abilities the mental factor is quite important and lets hope they crumble.

I'm nervous as fuck to be honest  This team have come so close only to fuck it up so many times in the past few years, I can't help but expect some sort of let down. I hope to God i'm wrong & we absolutely turn em over, to lose to them would be unbearable, but i'm sure i'll be feeling a little sick come 4pm on Sunday lol.

Also, who's gonna captain us in Cesc's absence? Robin I woulda thought?

Almunia's vice captain.....and has recently been our 'cup' keeper.
I'm just hoping that Wenger fields his strongest team and chooses Chesney.
Chesney played in the last round against Ipswich so I can't see (a real reason) why Wenger wouldn't play him.

Of course he's playing. Almunia will not, bar injury, get a look in on Sunday.
