Central Midfielders

Right, who would u pick in order for first cvhoice to 7th choice in the central midfielders roles, including Fabregas, Gilberto Silva, Flamini, Song, Diaby, Denilson, Randall and Merida.

Mine would be:

1.Cesc
2.Mathieu
3.Gilberto Silva
4.Vassiriki Abou
5.Dennis
6.On Song Alex
7.Merida
8.Mark R.

1. I am sure everyone will have Cesc as number 1

2. Flamini has been brilliant

3. Gilberto but only because Diaby doesn't play in centre, Gilberto is gone in many senses anyway

4. Even though Diaby hasn't been playing at centre, I rate him high

5. Denilson was great last season but he's been subdued so far

7. Well, I've seen Song more than I've seen Randall and Merida, and he's now got international recognition

8. I don't know Randall and Merida well enough to judge them

I've always wondered how Rosicky would play in the middle e.g. if Cesc was injured and he had someone like Flamini alongside him.

watched the ireland v brazil game last nite, and bert played quite well, as the holding midfielder. captian for his country, yet cant make the arsenal side. i still recon he,ll have a part 2 play in the run in.

I think Gilberto is on his way in the summer.

Diaby and Denilson worked very well together last year in the League Cup/FAC when they played in the centre together.

Song makes me calm at CB. He makes me shit my pants in the centre of midfield
