the nasri song
I notice now that everyone has their own version, who did we nick it off or did we make it up?

The wolves version had me in stiches, I reckon it was an arsenal song first because it fits in with Nasri (na na nasri) whereas all the ones from other clubs don't (essien, van der vaart)
Na na na na na na na na na na na Sylvan Ebanks-Blake

Na na na na na na na na na na na Sylvan Ebanks-Blake

We first 'developed' it a few matches before the Carling Cup game at the Lane against them lot, but that night we sung it non-stop especially after his two goals in extra time. The next week they started singing there own version for van der Vaart. Definitely stolen from us.BournemouthRED wrote:I know! the wolves version is laughable![]()
I met a spurs fan last month who thought we stole the song off them, and that our version sounded laboured
Just remembering that night, and the Spurs kid crying. Away end was absolutely rocking that night, never heard the Lane so quiet.

Mate this is Tottenham we're talking about, I don't expect any less.IW8Goalmachine wrote:i can remember that now what a bunch of twats they really are. take a chant that was launched of the night you were done by that very same playerNaNaNasri wrote:We first 'developed' it a few matches before the Carling Cup game at the Lane against them lot, but that night we sung it non-stop especially after his two goals in extra time. Pretty sure Leeds had it first? "Leeds are going up, going up, Leeds are going up"? Then Wolves had it, followed by us. I believe the very first airing the Nasri version got was at Barca away last year before it got properly established at Anfield in August. And has subsequently been hammered since the mauling dished out at the lane.
The spuds have the gall to accuse us of nicking it off them despite the fact that we've been singing it since before they'd even signed VDV
The fact that they nicked it after it was the soundtrack to an absolute derby day drubbing on their home patch is also shamelessly hilarious. Small time *word censored*.

I just hate the fact that Terry has won a double. But then I do dislike chavs that are the putrid offspring of drug dealers and shoplifters.slevinlacey wrote:Leeds and a few other teams had different renditions of the chant before us, but yes the scum nicked it after us.
I hate when the chavs sing double double double, John Terry blahblahblah, c**ts nicking our song!

This is the sunderland version which we made for david connolly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp-3YUTZ_0A . We sang it around 2007, but whilst i hadnt heard it for a while when we started it, i dont think it was an SAFC original, probably done a few years previously and brought back by our lads. As you say Arsenal eventually took it and (very weirdly) spurs took it after you raped them (if newcastle twatted us, the last thing i'd want to do is take one of their songs but there you go!)
