Wenger's Project Arsenal v 3.0 - Failed

Wenger's Project Arsenal v 3.0 - Failed

Post by Rob Admin »

So that's 3 finals - all threee 2-1 defeats and in all 3 we had chances to have won it. It's a culture of losing that has been growing from within the club.

We can't even rely on our best players when we need them, so RVP is now out of the Barcelona game along with Theo and Cesc - our fucking captain who pulls a hamstring 15 mins into a game before a cup final.

Speechless - it's failed Wenger. Watch the team and our season implode from here on in. We've given United the perfect fillet this weekend, I can only see a heavy defeat in the cup to them giving them the wind in their sails for the rest of the season.

So depressed and fucked off at our nearly men who will be remembered as just that, ultimately losers in the true sense fo the word.

As an aside, the last time we lost three consecutive cup finals spanned the years 1952-1969.

We've never lost four in a row, but Wenger's on course to re-write the history books...

We need regime change.

Let's start an uprising !!!! Get Wenger out, add some muscle and strength to the flair/creative players we already have. Get rid of the deadweight Barry B, Denilson, Rosicky, Squid, Average Al, Gael etc Put the armband of Wilshere and start again.

Look you can moan all you like but you know what'll happen. We'll get to May and Wenger will say that it has been a successful season because we got to a Final. finished 2nd or 3rd in the league, got very close to beating Barca over 2 legs and had another good Cup run. Add to that the usual bollocks about this being a young team who are still maturing etc etc

The silver lining to this cloud is the fact that he absolutely can't use the 'We got to a final' excuse this year - primarily, because we weren't beaten by the likes of Barcelona or Chelsea, and thus there absolute WAS shame in the way in which we were beaten.

Off the top of my head, I honestly can't rememeber a final in which we've played so dismally.

I think most Gooners are missing the most depressing aspect right now and it isnt losing yesterdays game or even the performance.........it is the fact that nothing is gonna change for the foreseeable future :( Wenger wont be removed nor will he resign (this is his club after all  ) so we are basically gonna be stuck in a remake of the movie grounhog day with the difference being that wenger isnt bill murray and doesnt learn from previous mistakes so us fans are getting tortured in the meantime :x

This, he will paint it as an improvement on last seasons collapse and like mugs we'll be expected to lap it up. We will not win another trophy under Wenger apart from the most money in the bank cup. It's going to be a long 3 months ahead watching our customary implosion.

And to top it all, it seems like we're gonna be paying even more for the privilege next year  :banghead:

Yesterday was supposed to be the coming of the Wenger Youth Experiment so the starting XI yesterday should have been the Carling Cup Final 2007 line up coming of age, with experience etc.

Yet not one of the 2007 XI started yesterday, okay Theo and Cesc would have had they been fit but does this mean Wenger's original youth experiment failed and he has just started all over again.
