Listen , maybe i have not articulated well what i really wanted to say, battling hard for the club is not the same as playing with a sense of pride, remember everybody including the locals are all paid to do a job.
But where is Arsenal's onfield connection to the english game, where is our john terry or rio ferdinand the link that embodies the english spirit of the game and the history of the club.
You seem to forget that if barca or Real come calling some of these guys are ready to leave.

the fact is the current crop dont seem bothered, we always had an arogant so and so in the team who was justified to be so, Henry/Bergkamp/Pires....they could always back it up....the current lot are arrogant but at the same time dont and cant back it up....and instead of fighting when the chips are down, they throw a strop and act like petulant children.
