Isn't he exactly what we need to strengthen our squad, particularly if Flamini is off? - Don't be suprised either if Bentley ends up at Man Utd
and what with Pennant possiby a champions League winner at Liverpool, one has to question Wenger's ability to nurture and bring English talent through - any views?

Chel$ki are only after Sidwell so that no-one else (Liverpool) can get hold of him. I heard a while back that Wenger / Arsenal write buy back clauses into young player transfers so that if they prove their quality after they leave we have first pick if they are to be sold on. Either that isn't true or Wenger doesn't see the need to use it.

Be rest assured even if Chelski buy Sidwell, he will be warming the benches there. Hes a very talented player and would do much better in a mid table club. As far as Bentley going to Man Ure goes, he wont get an automatic place in the starting line up either, so another waste of talent. I keep hearing about Jermaine Penant and how he has been good in the second half of the season for Liverpool. Whether he wins a Champions League winners medal or not, he just isnt good enough, lacks consistency.
