Laughing stock leaves a unique legacy (11/5)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Laughing stock leaves a unique legacy (11/5)

usual thread starter... so farewell graham poll. you were incompetent, but still, you did send off john terry and allow thierry's quick free-kick against the chavs. so it wasn't all bad. but when you said after the last world cup that you 'didn't recognise the graham poll that was out there' for the last 10 mins of the croatia v australia game, trust me, you were unmistakably graham poll to these eyes.

The show offs are the ones with the ball, not the one with the whistle.

To be honest, after the disaster when we finished with 9 men and 1-3 v Newcastle at Highbury thanks to Poll's incompetence, he wasn't too bad and occasionally seemed to want to compensate for that mistake. Who do you prefer, Riley, Bennett, Halsey, Styles, 'Clutterbuck' or, worst of all, our mate from Cardiff - Howard Webb. Now, be honest, does Poll still seem that bad?
