Kolo....

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Is the assumption that he will some straight back into the team at Senderos' expense? I don't think Wenger is very keen on operating like that and usually has a policy that if a player has come in and played well enough they keep their place, no? We've done pretty well defensivley with Kolo away. Admittedly to pretty weak teams but still clean sheets are clean sheets.

I AGREE BUT THAT WASN'T ONE OF THE OPTIONS.

BY THE WAY, IS SENDEROS INJURED? HE DID COME OFF EARLY AGAINST ENGLAND SO I WONDER IF HE'S OUT BECAUSE OF THAT? :?

Looks like Senderos is likely not to play, that's what Wenger said:

Philippe Senderos came off injured in midweek with a medial knee ligament and is a major doubt. He has played with it before and we'll see on Monday. I don’t rule him out completely and he is positive about it. Our medical team are a bit less. He wants to test it out over the weekend.

I think Kolo Toure needs a rest after his injury and the whole competition but looks like the injuries won't allow it.
