FIFA 11 PS3 QUICK TOURNAMENT?

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

FIFA 11 PS3 QUICK TOURNAMENT?

Post by northbankbren »

Quite a few from the league arent on much so how about a quick fire tourney.

8 player in the league 2 games per oponent.

Top 4 - 2semi finals.

final.

Teams are pre selected 4* teams. (By us) random draw.

Anyone in?????.......

The league will take forever and on my current form time for a cup i think

I'm in.

But it's got to be international or club. Not mixed.

It's daft as you can have the same players against each other.

Personal preference I suppose, and it is only a game. But I think having the same players in a game against each other is silly and unrealistic.

Belgium vs Arsenal, Tommy V marking Tommy V at a corner ? I've always played the game club vs club or international vs international.

If not we may as well re-jig the Online Gooner Forum league and we can all be Arsenal no ? They try to make the games as realistic as possible, with the right kits, stadiums, players etc. So when would a club side play a national side (Apart from Arsenal vs France circa 89

Sunderland Vs Ireland (Niall Quinn's testamonial)

Surely having the smae players in the match isn't that much of a big deal (except Belgium Vs Fulham, when all you hear from Martin Tyler is "Dembele, Dembele, Dembele, Dembele, Dembele...")

 :banghead:

Ok you got me..

In fact come to think of it, whenever I've played with anyone we've done club vs club or international. You're sitting there with your mate, right I'm gonna be Rangers ok I'll be Celtic. No fuck it I'll be Scotland ? :?

No but it's not realistic is it ? And is the idea of the game not to be realistic ? As I said mate each to their own, I think it should be club or international but not both. It's Bren's tournament so his rules ! (Also I think when Barriecuda set up the league he did say "club" teams)

I had genuinely never noticed that until you pointed out. I was wondering why there were a few comments about it

I promise to abide by whatever Bren decides!

i may choose someone else as sunderland are too slow at the back, hence why i dont fancy playing a game against belgium and having to mark hazzard or dembele with bramble :-P

3 more spaces. Should have it set up in a couple of hours and will post the name and password here.

Should stick to the same rules as the league no above 4* teams. Maybe we all nominate a team, and I'll pick at random who gets who?
