Some fans are blind

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Depending how long they are out we will miss chances and blow our chance at winning the title.
Vs good defence these guys will come short based on the fact they always do.
If the foward line of Van Persie, Nasri, Walcott backed up by Cesc, Song, Wilshere.
With the defence playing like they did vs Barcleona than this year would have seen us Champions.
I think even Arsahvin adds something when he is a sub so we almost got it right.
Just to add Scezny was not to blame for the Birmingham goal it was just a very bad defensive mistake. I like Scezney he has added steal to our goal lone.

Yeh I agree with this

Last night was a true reflection at all. The fringe players are in a word shit. Denilson with his sloppy passes and his bad fucking attitude. Yes Barry scored 3 but his attitude stinks and against teams like Sunderland and Barca he wont be scoring 3.

Made me laugh the sheep oh I mean fans singing 1 arsene wenger and Wenger give us a wave!!!!

The worst thing for me is loosing RVP, Theo and Cesc I would take them all back for the cost of the carling cup but that is not a choice.

I can say for 100000000000000% certainty we wont win games without them.
This was truly embarrassing even more than the 'who are ya's' to Orient and Barry cupping his ears to Orient fans
On the same subject, I find the ''WHO'' when players of the opposition are subbed off and on just as irriatating, it's patronising to the extreme, especially when aimed at lower league teams.
Oooo how dare them Arsenal fans take the piss out of the opposition. Were you there last night?
I wasn't there last night, but what's that got to do with the price of chips, it's probably the ones who do this, who also start the stupid ole's...

err, that's the whole point!?!

You need to listen what opposition fans sing/say about us - home and away.

It isn't one-sided and at the end of the day it's just a bit of banter!
Banter is fine Robsy, but as I said the TinCup, I put this on the same par as the ole's in my book, they even shout WHO at well known players..... stupid imo... :?

But I dont get what you can possibly have to complain about after a 5-0 win for friks sake.

I just dont get some Arsenal fans sometimes, we raise our game after an abismil cup final defeat to win a match 5-0, are through to the next round of the cup against Utd and I was clearly watching a different game on ESPN last night as I thought it was quite an entertaining 90 mins.

Why oh why do you support arsenal if it clearly causes you so much pain?

Someones obviously missed the fact that we were playing league 1 opposition...
So fooking what? We won 5-0, were through to the next round of the cup and ive just confirmed my OT away tickets today. What’s their not to be happy about?

Barca or Orient, whats the difference, we enter cup competitions and can only play who we are drawn against so why the fuck does that get some peoples backs up I just do not know. Some fans just want blood from a stone I tells thee.
Please don't tell me everything is rosy after what happened on Sunday, I ain't that stupid.
I didnt say that things are rosey, Im just saying what can their possibly be to complain about after a 5-0 win??

Sunderland is a crucial game and they are a good side. We can't underestimate them. But I would also hope that Nic is good enough to do a job.

Barca is a different game altogether and Wenger might change tactics.
WTF does Wenger know about tactics. If he knew what tactics were, we might have won the Carling Cup and would not have conceded 4 at Newcastle after being 4-0 UP!

Mourinho - Now there's a bloke who knows tactics.

Here is what I have to complain about, we are going around in circles with the same tired old manager.

Things I personally hate at home games:

1. Ole's before injury time and/or when the lead is less than 2.

2. Ole's in general.

3. Fans ole'ing or "who are ya"-ing at teams that are clearly below Premier League standards. C'mon, it's a little below us to do that to a team like Orient, as far as I'm concerned.

4. Fans going "WHO" at obviously recognizable players or the above mentioned below-our-calibre players from lower leagues.

Its absolute Guff like this that annoys me....what do you mean take away his goals?! he is a forward and he scored three, and you still have a go at him!! Absolute Bollocks!!

This thread is a bit of a joke too, We beat Orient 5-0 with our reserves....there wasnt one player out there that would start normally, so stop crying!! its pathetic! Denilson was fine, always budy in midfield so dont start with the Denilson bashing, he isnt good enough to play for our first 11 when all are fit, which is why he doesnt 90% of the time!

Fringe players wont be as good as the starting 11...thats why they are fringe players!!

People get on Bendtners back from the off, i dont know what the problem is with some people, every game i have to say something to some prick that doesnt give the players a chance, straight onto them wanting them subbed, and as soon as the sub comes on and makes a mistake they want them off.....some fans are pathetic!!

As for moaning about people singing the managers name....he is our manager, whether you like it or not, and as it stands we are in the big 3 competitions, with a fair shot at winning all three!!!

I cant wait until we win the league....most people on here will moan that we only won it because chelsea were poor or united drew too many or other such shit!!

If we do win it im going to post a picture of my ball sack on here so quite a few of you can kiss it!!

1. I agree re bendtner - slagging him off after he does all that he can, is a little ridiculous. However, it should be noted that it was against a poor side, and that some people do not have much faith in bendtner's ability to lead our attack on a regular basis against top opposition. Probably including the manager.

2. Fringe players - The reason they get stick, is because they play a vital role in determining whether we challenge (and win) major honours. For various reason, we seem to suffer under serious injuries, and as has been proved over the last 3-5 years, our back-up players have not been good enough to carry us over the line. It's the very fact that we see them so often, and that they don't perform, is what leads to much of the frustration.

3. Fans react to players at a football match - where have you been for 150 years? Over-reaction is something, but for some, football is a passion that cannot be switched on and off - Like Ian Wright, you take the good with the bad. You don't have to say anything - you choose to.

4. If people want to sing his name, fine. As for having a fair shot at all three, we've been down this raod before, so I think if people react in a certain way at this time of year, regarless of being in with a chance, it's probably because of experience of history. Learn from history, and you won't repeat the same mistakes.

5. I think if we win the league, then people will be too busy celebrating to be on here (I would hope so). But to have the opinion that the door was opened for us because the standard was lower this year is not a crime if it turns out to be fact.

6. ...And as you know, I will be running naked down Holloway Rd and into the Wig if we in the league, so I'll kiss your balls at the same time, to save me having to make the journey twice. Ok?
