I'd be more angry but it was oh so predictable

You think your angry now, wait til next weekend when we're out of the CL and United are putting us out the cup with a dodgey penalty and doing Oles while Denilson tries to close down....

You say they haven't got the bollocks, but I think they'd be foolish to sack him.

We're 2nd, only 3pts behind the experienced, expensively assembled ManUre, and some way AHEAD of mega rich Citeh and the hugely experienced, and very expensively put together double winners Chelsea!

We also got to a Wembley cup final and beat possibly the best team ever to have played the game, Barcelona... and we have a cup quarter final against ManUre coming up.

It really hasn't been a bad season at all, and considering we haven't the luxury of bringing a £30m Berbatov off the bench, or signing a £30m+ Edin Dzeko or £50M Torres to help us out, we should be proud.

Things aren't perfect - far from it - and yes, Wenger's bizarre loyalty to Denilson and Almunia is maddening, but neither is it all doom and gloom - they're only reserves these days, as the talented Wilshere and Szczesny have come through and into the first team...something Wenger should be given credit for, I suppose.

As I said, far from perfect, but not doom and gloom either.
Top post.

Some of you lot really need to take a step back. Yes his loyalty to certain players is just unbelievable but it could be a lot worse. I fully expect him to make the right changes with the squad but if he doesn't and we don't win anything then I won't be happy, thats for sure.
What gives you any indication that Wenger will make the right changes, hes had fucking years to do the right thing but as usual time after time he does fuck all, as other people on here have said Wenger has no ambition to win the league, if he did he would go that extra mile and actually spend money on quality players that would probably win us the league, of course theres no possibility but we would have more of a chance if he didnt keep playing the same shit squad players. Come this time next week I can see no other outcome than that our season will be over, and until either the board and/or Wenger grow some bollocks and actually do whats required then it will be the same season after season, wankers the lot of them

Yes, it was oh so predictable.
Really hope I'm wrong, but another season without any silverware is just about a certainty. Can't see any other outcome than being dumped out of another 2 trophies in 7 days time. Won't win the league. The squad could have been strengthened in Jan, but oh no, AW knows best. Well, we'll see.
Can't wait for the excuses in May. "I feel we are improving"", "mentally we are very tough", "technically we are very good", "I really believe in these players".
At the end of the day, it's Wenger who has the likes of Denilson, Squllachi, Bendtner, Almunia, Vela, Eboue on the books.
I still believe the stadium will sell out as normal for games next season. Why? Well, the Board couldn't give a toss where the visitors (note visitors, not "supporters", come from, as long as the stadium is filled. Just look at the amount of people at the games who are foreigners on weekend trips or corporate outings - the board will pull out all the stops to ensure the seats are occupied. Some real supporters will pull out as they have had enough of the deceit and wool being pulled over their eyes.
I can see 3 more years of failure in a football sense until summer 2014,
but we will still hear the crap from Gazidis about being an efficient business model, and how we are "looking to the future". I just think the aims of the business (note "business", not "club", have turned.
Hope I'm wrong.

Fucking depressing today. Even Chippy Jnr (a 15yo rosetinter) has had enough after going through last Sunday and today. I'm off to barca in the morning but looking at it as a big piss up. If we play like that on Tuesday we'll be slaughtered.

Well played mate.

The way I feel about this team, I wouldn't look out of the window if they were playing in the street.

Bitterly disappointed with todays result and the performance.

Looks like the beginning of the end of our season. We really needed 3 points today. Two very tough games coming up and I can't see the team performing in either of those if today is anything to go by.

We are in contention for the Premiership and it looks like too many players are in danger of shitting their shorts at the thought of overhauling the Mancs.

In the absence of Cesc why does AW put the most creative players out wide? I cannot understand why it took over an hour to bring Nasri into the centre and start pulling the strings.

Jack is fantastic, plays with passion, passes accurately, can hold the ball, etc. but he is not able to take on the Cesc role at the moment. It has to be either Nasri or Arshavin. They have the trickery and brains to unlock defences, play killer passes and score goals.

We can blame the officials as much as we like but it's a smokescreen for some poor individual performances and also the tactics.

3pts off top spot with 28 games gone in the season.

Even the most optimistic supporter wouldn't have envisaged this scenario back in the Autumn.

We've only lost 3 games in our last 25 matches and only lost 1 of last 13 in the Premier League.

Given all of the above. The majority of supporters in attendance today think it's acceptable to boo the team off the field at full-time.

Shameful
