WHEN WENGER LEAVES

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

TA6 is serving his apprentiship at Pompey and I think he'll be in the running but I wouldn't be surprised if Giles Grimandi got the nod from AW. He is very highly rated by him and would continue with his ethic.

Not a scenario I want to contemplate right now but an interesting thought has occurred. Who would want to take over? Those will be some mighty big shoes to fill, it will take a man with some rather large gonads I feel so I nominate:

Never really make posts on this site (always a great read though) but reading this thread I felt compelled to due to the fact I had a very long conversation with a friend of mine about this subject today.
Wenger gone is a very scary thought. At this moment in time there isn’t one candidate who really jumps out, but at the moment I don’t think we have anything to worry about. Wenger is in for the long term and I can see him in charge for 5 more years at least and truly believe he will retire at Arsenal. But when the time comes for a new manager there may be a more obvious candidate for the job.
Personally I would love to see Adams back at the club in some form in the future, but for me Dennis Bergkamp would be a step in the right direction. I know at the moment he isn’t involved in footy but if he was to become a member of the coaching staff in the next couple of years, get his badges, and learns the trade under Wenger then when Arsene does decide to step down Bergkamp could be the man for the job.
Still Arsene leaving……Fucking Scary!!!!!!

if dennis was to get involved in coaching and he was a candidate, for me that would be a wet dream.

on the subject of ta6, im not sure on other peoples views but i think he has made far too many headed goal line clearances for a job of this magnitude
