Yep and you can write out a cheque for £200,000,000...on paper

I have to agree with this. BBP is not making any ludicrous claims. Its a simple statement "if we win our next 10....). I also think that if we win our last 10 games we will win the league.
As much as I dislike our "second string" team, if they get us points at the right time, we will be champions.

PS: This is not a post to say that I think we'll win the league :banghead:

but it is possible 8)

So if we win our game in hand, we'll be even on points with Manure. Could this season be decided on goal difference?

:?

But because we also play Man Utd in the last ten, a win for us and a loss for them would mathematically ensure that we won the title (if we win the last ten).

Yeah if we win our remaining games we will win the league. I think if we get 25+ points including beating united we will win the league.

Good point.
So we could still lose one game, beat Manure and improve our goal difference(which is only 3 less than them) and if we win our remaining 9 games, win the league.

COME ON YOU GUNNERS :barscarf:

Anyone seen Fergy throwing out his toys out of the pram this eve? Fair enough, United were beaten. I suppose that would make him slightly annoyed.
However, what made me chuckle was that he refused to do an interview. That is not the end of it though. He didn't allow his players to talk to the media either.
Could you imagine the uproar if Arsene Wenger had done the same?

I have no doubt that every form of media would go into overdrive. Wenger would be hung, drawn and quartered.
It would be on the front few pages of every newspaper, pushing murder stories to page 8, for at least a week.

Sky Sports would be going mental.
Yet Alex Ferguson seems to get away with it. Why?

People love to have a pop at Wenger about some of his interviews but at least he does them. And I'm sure he does them all the time too.

Win, lose or draw, the Arsenal gaffer is there and always answers EVERY question put to him. You might not like his answer but he will always reply.
Can you say the same about Fergie?

Why Ferguson gets so much respect from the media is beyond me. Redknapp is the same but the less I say about him the better. I cannot bear that baggy-faced mug.
It has to be fear. The media are worried about receiving the famous 'Fergie hairdryer' treatment so they treat him with kid-gloves.

Maybe Wenger needs to tell an interviewer to 'f off' like Redknapp, maybe he needs to impose a media ban for his club like Ferguson.
Maybe, just maybe, Wenger might get the respect he deserves and not be treated with contempt from the media despite giving them all the time in the day

So far another "easy run in" theory is being shot to shite anyway  God if we had even the slightest semblence of guts and passion in the squad plus quality on the bench we would absolutely piss the league :( Up until manure's capitulation again yesterday we were on course for our customary season collapse over 2-3 weeks.......lose beer cup final last week, knocked out of champs lge tuesday night and knocked out of fa cup in mancland next saturday - the only thing keeping our season alive is that everybody else is as shite as we are

Any journalist that criticises or questions pizza face gets banned from his press conferences and black-listed by the club. He is a truly classless, petty man. Just look at his approach to the BBC. I fucking hate him and for all his success as a football manager he will never have the class of Wenger. Fucking hell, even mourinho is classier.. :banghead:

We no longer have the official "easiest run-in". man u, liverpool and spurs to play (as well as the others like Blackburn at home who we will easily beat   )

if we had lost two in a row, indeed three out of five.media would be in meltdown mode about us,but we know whats its like in sky/talksports world

man u without vidic.ferd are weak in a defence and their midfield is poor

carrick is their denilson and he plays more often!

they won't win their last nine games

79/80 points is the magic total,we win 7,draw 2 lose 1 or even win 6 and draw 4 could be enough

we are creeping closer to them.we have our best chance since 04

will depend on whether walcott/vp come back in april
does cese hammy go away?
can ramsey give us a option in certain games?
is chamakh refeshed?

we won't see TV,but our defence stats are now third best in the league!
