usual thread starter... some think he's a chelsea fan, others thinks he supporrts spurs. on thing we can all agree on. graham poll is a huge fan of himself. probably his biggest. will you miss him? however bad his decisions, they sometimes went out way. so my conclusion - incompetent, but not necessarily biased. now as for the mike riley fella...

How can this trash article be described as a Gooner Exclusive? I'm no fan of Poll, but do we have to stoop to using 't*sser', 'tw*t', 'a*shole' and 'big-arsed' to describe his obvious flaws? Sort it out, Ed.

FOR ALL HIS FAULTS, GRAHAM POLL WAS THE ONE REFEREE THAT WASN'T AFRAID TO MAKE THE BIG DECISIONS.

UNLIKE RILEY, HE DIDN'T COWER AT THE THOUGHT OF GIVING SOMETHING AGAINST MAN UTD OR CHELSEA AND HE WAS NEVER ONE TO BE INFLUENCED BY THE BAYING OF THE HOSTILE HOME CROWD - AS WE HAVE FOLD OUT TO OUR COST IN THE PAST.

ALL IN ALL, I'M A TINY BIT SAD THAT HE IS GOING, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU THINK OF THE W*NKERS STILL LEFT IN CHARGE OF FOOTBALL MATCHES (RILEY, RENNIE, WEBB - SADLY, I COULD GO ON AND ON).

I THINK ALAN WILEY IS PROBABLY THE TOP MAN NOW. HE IS ANOTHER REF THAT DOESN'T GET INTIMIDATED BY THE HOME FANS AND GENERALLY LETS PLAY FLOW.
