I don't know what it is with Arsenal fans these days but every single away game it's "Shall we sing a song for you" and "Your support is fucking shit" constantly being sung. Even Barca got this treatment the other night.

It just makes us look like idiots when we've hardly got the loudest home support in the world. We never used to sing these idiotic songs but it doesn't matter who we play now, it doesn't matter how loud the fans are, we sing it.

Not to mention the fact that they're really boring songs.

To be fair, there weren't too many other songs being sung in Barca. Which was disappointing. So at least it got most people singing!

Anyway, it is a harmless song, of all the things to sing, it isn't nasty, racist, homophobic, etc etc, so all things considered, it's a small fry complaint to make.

Sorry but nearly all clubs sing this, especially in the lower leagues. Its basically the norm and does not make our club look stupid at all because its accepted as one of those generic songs that everyone sings.

We go away and they both get sung within 2 minutes.

I agree with gazza. Don't really see the point in singing it as it's generally what fans of small or shit clubs sing to make up for the inadequacy of their side on the pitch. Oh..... I get it now.

I'm afraid that at the big away or neutral venue games the gooners always seem to be in great vocal form in the pubs pre match but then over do the beers and generate very little noise in the stadium.

2 games spring to mind the Cup Winners Cup final v Zarragosa and Carling Cup V Birmingham.

If you're too pissed you can't co ordinate a decent song!!!!

Oh and in the final V Parma there were 2 guys behind us who slept thru most of the game as they were so out of it.

Probably still told their mates what a great game it was. Tossers!!!
