no, we need someone to buy different types of players - preferably ones that do actually have the famed mental strength that wenger bangs on about so much, and clear out the shit.

If we all worked together and used the energy we invest in this club it could actually make a difference. It might not but it might as well.

And I would think we'd rather take that chance instead of shrinking back if only for Arsenal. It's sad really because anyone who wanted to look at the reality could see this coming back in 2006 once we decided to re-develop Highbury and began breaking up the Invincibles in earnest to help pay for that decision.

Some here would rather just be heartbroken than stand and fight it seems and that just still is hard to imagine.
Really?

Focus on the players and the manager.

More like Wenger keeping faith in Diaby and Denilson who are not good enough for our club. I reckon a player like Coquelin would do better than either of them, same goes for Bartley. Both of which are already on our books.

Wilshere is a very good player but he was played too deep today, leaving RvP isolated.

Arshavin just does not work hard enough and is not physcially sharp enough, regardless of his excellent technical ability, his work rate is a fundamental problem.

Maybe, maybe not. But there's surely managers out there who recognise when players are shit & have more than one way of playing the game.

Love that. Who could do better? If only everyone could use that in defence of their performance.

We're still in 4 competitions. we're still in 4 compettions. we can still win the double. There;s still a chance in the league...

Havent you got it yet?

I'll add below average almunia to that list - any long term members here will be well aware that I have wanted the guy out for a long time now(and I still do) but credit where credit is due the guy did well again tonight and cannot be faulted for any of the goals. The rest though can fcuk right off
Agree with that. Not just the saves but he was showing 10x more urgency in his distribution to get us moving again than anyone else bar Jack. A fucking keeper showing more urgency in possession than 9 outfield players! :banghead: At a stretch I might add Sagna, but that's it. At this rate Jack's gonna get pissed off playing for us pretty quickly. Genuinely feel sorry for the lads that went up there today.

I agree we need different types of players, but they cost money, whoever is in charge won't be given it,the manager is being hung out to dry a bit,he can't come out and criticise his bosses can he?

With Almunia, there is a half decent keeper in there somewhere but you just know at any minute he could decide to palm it into his own net. Very frustrating.

No point in slagging off AW or any of the players. We are where we are and have to see it through to the end of the season.

Under the circumstances I thought the boys played well today. It has been a difficult couple of weeks and we looked good and passed the ball well.

Shame about the finishing again but if they continue to play like that and they keep their chins up we can still win the Premiership.

A touch more urgency and and coolness in front of goal will see us through.

We have been utter pants but let's be honest if we'd won the cup and not the league the Wenger out brigade wouldn't change their tune anyway, the league is the only thing that matters.

Injury to Djourou is a major fucking concern. FFS

I think you mean that the league is the only thing left
If the league was all that mattered then why did that *word censored* pick all bar clichy of his available players tonight then ?

no, they don't cost money. we replace the excessive wages we pay to diaby, and invest in players who can fight for the club, and give us what countless utd players give to their side.

I hope so, but I think we concede to many goals not to mention the painfully slow attacks.

We're going through a bad run, it happens, its happened before and it will happen again. Sitting there calling Wenger and certain players c**ts is pathetic.
so what should we call them? heroes? or Wenger the God? or Wenger knows best?
...and this is the problem. You don't need to make these kind of overblown judgements. Tonight they lost a game which by and large they played well in. These things happen, and will always happen as long as you follow football. You don't need to sit there and make out Wenger must go - if that was the case he would have been gone long ago. We are not perfect, we aren't a Barcelona type team that beats every team they face, and the sooner you be more realistic with you expectations with Arsenal you might just see these things with a more balanced view. Until you can point out a more (realistic) alternative to the way things are currently done at Arsenal you need to just be grateful for the good times and take the bad times in your stride.

Its been a shit 2 weeks, but we've been there before and we can be there again and maybe next time we will do better. But don't make out like this team is a disgrace - we've got so much going for us we can't just give up every time we face a difficult period.

I'm gutted we lost today, we deserved more. We played well, but it wasn't happening for us today, and I'm more worried about the injury to Djourou than the result.
got so much going? we deserved more? you are really deluded just like Wenger. How long has this shit been going? no it's not just 2 weeks. It's YEARS man. Wake up and smell the flowers. And there is a realistic way to end all these and that is by getting a new manager
