Really pissed off tonight again tonight. I thought the team didn't give up and played to the final whistle but no real complaints about the result. Used to these results following Arsenal. To be honest I feel Arsene should go at the end of the season but looking at the posts on this thread makes me feel worse than the result itself.
Just to rub in the hurt are the fans who are watching the game and abusing the team by keystrokewhile they are actually playing. At least wait until the final whistle before unleashing your vile shit. If you are not at the game. Isnt a tv and a beer enough without feeling the need to "comment" on the proceedings and calling half the team and manager *word censored*.
If you pay for a season ticket and they piss you off so much then give it up. You are only mugging yourself off paying for something that upsets you so much. Spend your money on something that will make you happy.
Some of you guys on this forum really need to check yourselves or get a purpose in life. FFS.

I have a silver membership and i dont go , i got fed up with the line of 'we have 40 mill to strengthen the team' and u never fucking do
every bloody season
i would take the special one and 50 mill to spend any day
ffs that was not a particularly good manure line up and i have just lost money as well , ffs happy days

Well, I find it hard to see that you've never met a Gooner who wasn't half as angry as the guys that frequent these parts.antgel wrote:Actually I lived in Hendon for most of my life. I'd like to think that I could have a beer with any Gooner on here in real life and we could get along.Number 5 wrote:Where do you live brother? Forums are meant for discussion.
Maybe it's time for a very simple new rule on here - posts containing simple abuse of fellow fans with no other content to be deleted and warnings and bannings to result.
In over 20 years following home and away I never once had a conversation with a Gooner with anywhere near the level of vitriol and spite on here. So if it wouldn't happen n real life I don't see why it should be allowed here.
You say forums are meant for discussion, but you didn't half up the anti with you thread.
You put it out there, back it the fuck up.
I can't work out if you are serious or if there is an undercurrent of a threat to your post.
Anyway I emigrated last year, so either way I'll have to decline but thanks (if you meant it in a nice way).
I've spoken to many who don't post here recentley that are fucking pissed off brah.
No threat in my post, when I want to fight a mother fucker I post my home address and telephone number. (I did actually do this)
I'm sure we could have a beer but fucking hell your ears would be sore.

Anyone that gets rid of Diaby, Denilson, Rosicky and Bendtner gets my voteHenry Norris 1913 wrote:according to the AKB wenger is the only manager in the world I seeDemun210 wrote:Wenger has to go? I disagreed that the CL is out of reach for us. If Wenger has done something like making the team defensively solid and getting quality players, we will have a chance of winning it.antgel wrote:I'll ask again, do you disagree on either point? Did you say that at the beginning of the season?antgel wrote:Wow, so yet another thread turns into the usual Wenger out broken record. How tiresome.
We have been utter pants but let's be honest if we'd won the cup and not the league the Wenger out brigade wouldn't change their tune anyway, the league is the only thing that matters.
Injury to Djourou is a major fucking concern. FFS
FWIW I can easily justify my opinion not that I have to.
1. Not everything I say or think is written on this forum.
2. Ever since we won the FA Cup vs Southampton, I realised how devalued it had become. A shame but that's the way it is. Arsenal has never been just a cup team, we win leagues. Cups are a bonus to turn leagues into doubles.

so haven't we had such "decent" seasons before like since 2006? if that's what you claimed to be a decent season, well we have one in 2006 where we reached 2 finals and 07/08 and 09/10 where we have chances to win PL. Haven't you learnt from all these? Honestly speaking, can you really see us winning the PL after screwing up time and time again for the past few yrs?Demun210 wrote:You can't be serious.defleppardisking wrote:Look who's talking nonsense. Decent season? what decent season? losing to birmingham in the final, losing to barca in the CL and just lose to MU(again) in the FA cup and that is decent season to you? Oh man stop spouting crap. Stop telling us that we are financially secure, got some quality players etc. You are no different from louderDemun210 wrote:Deluded?defleppardisking wrote:got so much going? we deserved more? you are really deluded just like Wenger. How long has this shit been going? no it's not just 2 weeks. It's YEARS man. Wake up and smell the flowers. And there is a realistic way to end all these and that is by getting a new managerDemun210 wrote: ...and this is the problem. You don't need to make these kind of overblown judgements. Tonight they lost a game which by and large they played well in. These things happen, and will always happen as long as you follow football. You don't need to sit there and make out Wenger must go - if that was the case he would have been gone long ago. We are not perfect, we aren't a Barcelona type team that beats every team they face, and the sooner you be more realistic with you expectations with Arsenal you might just see these things with a more balanced view. Until you can point out a more (realistic) alternative to the way things are currently done at Arsenal you need to just be grateful for the good times and take the bad times in your stride.
Its been a shit 2 weeks, but we've been there before and we can be there again and maybe next time we will do better. But don't make out like this team is a disgrace - we've got so much going for us we can't just give up every time we face a difficult period.
I'm gutted we lost today, we deserved more. We played well, but it wasn't happening for us today, and I'm more worried about the injury to Djourou than the result.
We've moved to a new stadium that we've been able to financially manage better than any other premiership team. We've got a decent scouting network and some very promising youngsters for the future.
For now though, we're 2nd in the league, got some truly quality players that play the kind of football that makes us stand-out not only in the Premiership but throughout Europe. We've had a decent season that no-one would have realistically predicted. Yeah, this season has been a real disaster.....be realistic with your expectations and you won't be disappointed and come here talking nonsense.
We're 2nd in the league, with a massive chance of winning it. OK, we've gone out of 3 cup competitions over the last 2 weeks, and the manner of those defeats is hard to take I agree. But, we can win the league. Put that in perspective - we can win the league if we play well from now until the end of the season. If we will or not remains up in the air (mainly because of the injuries), but if you can honestly sit there and make out we haven't had a decent season then you really need to assess weather you are a proper supporter or if you are only happy when we're winning.

Arsene Wenger won't be sacked. But he may reflect on a failed season and ask himself what he is actually doing and if he is ever going to succeed on the path he is on right now. He may leave. He can't put pur failures just down to injuries, refs and bad pitches.
He's intelligent, he can see that whilst he has built a technically gifted team through a nurturing approach, we fail because we don't have the ruthlessness and hard-arsed cussedness to finish things off. This missing quality, I think, and M Wenger may come to realise, will never be there in a team that is nurtured. You need a hairdryer, you need boots kicked about in the changing room, you need to drop non performers and be cruel to failures.
He may also come to the realisation that his desire to play our game and ignore what the opposition may or may not do doesn't work. Whe was the last time AW tactically out-thought his opposite number in a game? If McCleish can do it for Brum then Fergie can do it easy, time after time, even with a depleted team.
