Make it as a fan page instead. Then we can start something so we can start getting peoples email address's.

Yeah but the name of the fan page I disagree with. It should be Victory Through Harmony. I think Arsenal FC not Arsenal PLC is ok, but as I keeping saying this should be about bringing people together and trying to get our club back. I personally feel you don't get that from the other name.

If this is going to be succesful, it will take a lot of work. It wont all happen overnight, although it does feel like everything is happening very quickly, eventhough we've only just got started.

A website will be paramount, Facebook and Twitter just wont be enough. We could get a free hosted site or pay for the domain ourselves. Not entirely sure how much it'll cost, but if we a few or all of us chipped in, it'll be fairly cheap to run and maintain.

We need someone to write up a little paragraph, just saying what this is all about. Personally, after reading alot of comments, I think Quartz would be great for this. Something short but puts the campaigns point across.

We can then start to generate followers on both the facebook page and the twitter. Get tweeting the Journo's, John Cross at the mirror is a gooner. Once we've got a bit of an audience, we can really start getting our points across and hopefully the club will see and take note.

Arsene Wenger has brought us great success as manager. He has not only won trophies, but revolutionised the culture of football, and produced teams who played some of the most attractive football the world has seen.

We moved stadium in 2006, and we fans understand that the move lead to sensible structured debt. Even so, we have not won a trophy since 2005. The squad is close to the title, but every season it gets "So near yet so far". Many fans believe that the purchase of three quality players could take the squad to great football success, without breaking the bank. For successive transfer windows our hopes have been raised high, but never met. It is crushing us as fans, and we have to do something about it.

So we have formed this group with the following aims:

1.) To encourage the manger to bring in two or three quality players who can make us genuinely competitive for the league title.
We can see the club has money in the bank, and we strongly believe it needs to be spent on players.

2.) To encourage the manger to review his coaching structure, especially defence. On too many occasions we have failed to hold onto a lead.

3.) To be a bit harsher when rewarding players with new contracts. If players in their mid twenties are consistently under performing, then consideration should be made to sell them or to introduce a salary of lower wages but higher bonuses, to give the players greater incentive to win.

It's great to see fans organising themselves. However, a lot of what your suggesting has slowly been building momentum. It's been a year since this was set up. It has a web presence, twitter, facebook, etc. John Cross has been following us and there is talk of an article.

We even have a bank account which has been used to produce a banner.

It's all down to timing. It ain't about wearing a scarf, it's about like-minded.

The banner contains the message LET'S KICK GREED OUT OF FOOTBALL.

Rather than a number of groups setting up, why not take another look.

Some of you may ask why they haven't heard a lot from the BSM recently. Well the simple answer is it takes up a lot of time, and in our case, our own money.

There's always many pleading for something to be done but when it comes down to it they rearely put themselves up for it.

I suggest you take another look so that we're not duplicsating our efforts. You may find that the foundations that have been built are a suitable platform to take to the next level.

I understand what your group is trying and good luck to it.

I know 19 pages is a unrealistic to read but over the course of those 19 pages the discussion came to the conclusion that this new group has very narrow focused aims.

Namely to get the manager to spend on some decent players and sort out the defence (perhaps one other point if people want to include it), especially because no one wants to tread on anyone else's toes or diffuse the message.

The wider campaign on fan culture is already covered by your group and others, and is a worthy cause.
