I have pasted in Quartz 3 aims which Steve O had good input on although I too think the last sentence regarding property is a no go area for now at least because its going to take a lot to get the 3 aims across at first. But say he goes out in the summer and does spend? If we are strong enough as a group, we may be able to take on other issues.
Loads of people have put input in and said they'll help out etc which is good because I think it will take a lot to get it off the ground. I don't mind heading things up and as previously mentioned a committee should be the way to go which we'll sort when things are agreed upon.QuartzGooner wrote:1.) To encourage the club to visibly invest in quality players, to allow Arsenal to compete for the major club competition trophies domestically and in Europe.
2.) To seek clarity over the club's youth policy, with particular regard to the policy of rewarding young players with long term contracts that have increased the club's annual wage bill yet not resulted in trophies.
3.) To understand the PLC's longer term vision and strategy. As supporters we have clear goals and ambitions, measured by winning trophies. As an organisation involved in various business sectors, but whose principle activity is a football club, we believe that this should also be the clear and measured objective of the PLC.
I'm going to find out about the name in the morning but what IU4GN said does make sense, but we’ll just have to change it if needs be. Thanks to Dan for the artwork and 1886 for setting up the facebook page. Hopefully things will get off the ground and it will all pull together. We’ll set up a little pot for things like the website, the banners, flyers etc.
The last point I want to make is; I don’t think we should launch it fully just yet as we are still in the title race and would seem crazy if we were to win it. I think the idea of a protest may be good to do for one of the last home games of the season because it would give us enough time to get the numbers together.
Sorry for the long post but hopefully we can get this on the road and get our Arsenal back.
