I'll set it up later but the problem at the moment is the name, I'm thinking we may need a back up incase it is infringement.augie wrote:Ok can we open a paypal account so that we can make contributions to pay for these banners ? As I stated already I am more in favour of stronger action but I am also a believer in democracy and if the majority feel that this is the way to go then I am on board 100%. The crucial thing now is that everybody weighs in fully behind this push cos a strong show of numbers is fundemental in getting momentum and appearing unified to both the club and media
The way to get their attention

I agree we need to do things properly and a paypal account is a good idea.
Obviously I will be available for 100% of anything that needs to be done.
As for new names Jay, what else do we have in mind?
How about putting The ed of the Gooner and those mods forward as the "leaders" for this?
We need to have a "board" in place to lead this. banners are def the way to start this off. If we wait until the end of the season then Gazidis and his cronies will be laughing as the season will be over and all will be quiet. then we have lost the momentum.
ED??????

I am sure in time a group will be formed that will push this forward. On the front line I am there for this and will help as much as I can both with ideas and implementing them.
Gooner Ed is very busy atm so doubt he'll have time to organise this.SPARKSY wrote:How about putting The ed of the Gooner and those mods forward as the "leaders" for this?

Victory Through Harmony.
AFC NOT PLC - this could work?
I agree with steve o when he takes issue with the use of victory through harmony - the very essence of what we are doing is going to cause disharmony and the old *word censored* hill wood will be the first to point that out

I would also like something in a banner that refer's to us as The Arsenal - I would hope that it would highlight the pride that is so lacking amongst certain sections of the club

The AFC not PLC is a nice subtle way of getting teh attention of everyone in the ground.
It appears whoever you talk to feels the same although some are obviously more vocal than others.
Trust me we will do something. I will do this alone if need be.
The group setting this up are real gooners that know other real gooners. We will have the contacts and the support of other like minded fans.
This isn’t set up by keyboard warriors but by real fans that invest heavily in the club both financially and by effort of going week in week out.
Not saying it makes us better fans but it does give certainty that we will put our all into this and that it isn’t just talk
