AA23 good post. To get the protest really there needs to be (as i said in that thread) ONE main focus. ONE thing that everyone can agree on. Not a list of aims/policies/ideas just ONE idea.
ARSENAL FC, NOT PLC WANTS:
ARSENAL FOOTBALL CLUB START SPENDING MONEY ON QUALITY PLAYERS. - We the fans spend our money on the club, time the club started spending what we give them on players that will IMPROVE us.
Something that simple. So many fans have different views on wenger the board and everything else trying to come up with some massive campaign with loads of ideas just alientates people. And the masses wont buy into the idea.
Where as just SPEND MONEY ON QUALITY, there cant be one gooner out there who doesnt want that.

You clearly havent read any of the threadDemun210 wrote:I'd love to see this protest happen, it would without a doubt me one of the funniest things I've ever seen when it comes to football - "Wenger out! We're sick of top 4 finishes!"
I really hate to see there's a (growing) section of our fans who have become so precious they can't even stomach anything but winning. Look at what we've had in the last 10 years; League wins, Cup wins, record unbeaten run, European Cup final and various other cup finals and closely fought domestic league campaigns. Of course, while doing all that playing a brand of football that 99% of supporters of other clubs would love to see in a heartbeat, the privilege of watching some of the worlds best footballers and finally moving to a new stadium.
And yet its still not enough.
You want to start protesting? At what exactly? What is so bad with Arsenal that you'd actually seriously consider time planning and doing this? Do me a favour. We've not one a trophy for a while? Get over it. We've not gone out and spunked a load of money at the slightest opportunity? How about supporting what we do have and stop moaning about what isn't there all the time. Seriously, the majority of supporters in England would love their club to have what we have, so start putting it in perspective and focus your efforts on supporting the team. If you want our club to become amongst those other laughing stocks (Eg. Liverpool) because their fans come across as whining knobheads then you're going the right way about it.
I share in the frustration a lot of you feel, but I'm a realist and I know the difference between a major problem that needs to be addressed and frustration because we're so close to winning a cup or league. I too question some of Wenger's decisions, particularly the defenders / strikers issue, but I'm not going to go way over the top just because I'd prefer to see a bit of shake up with the squad. Weather you like it or not, Arsenal IS a business and that's just same way as every other Premiership team. Football went that way a long time ago, and I hate it just like all of you, but your wasting your time if you think protesting is going to do a thing to change that. I know tickets are expensive and you feel pissed off with some of the results this season, but that's the life of a football fan. On balance, we've had more than our share of good times and we're continually competing for more, so in reality any protests are going to look very fickle.

ITS NOT A WENGER OUT PROTEST.
maybe do the research before posting next time.

IMO, i don't think the situation is too bad, sure Le Boss is stubborn but if he doesn't spend big in the summer then you can protest. We are currently on a streak of 7 successive clean sheets, bar the Everton game, (which the goal was offside). Officiating was against us in the last three games we have played which is unlucky but cannot be excused. Before the RVP sending off in the Barca match, we were ahead. After 154 minutes played in the tie, we were 3-2 up. This shows that 11 vs 11 we were better than the supposedly best team in the world. So I reckon people on this forums should chill out until the season is over, if we have lost in the title race by a large margain and stick to the current squad then maybe we can talk about the end of Wenger.

Must be a wind-up account.

Season tickets have to be renewed by June 1st so what happens if the old fool does what he did last summer. Will those who bought ST get there money back.Protesting when the transfer window closes will be too late as the club will already have banked the ST moneyMrGnu'sSon wrote:IMO, i don't think the situation is too bad, sure Le Boss is stubborn but if he doesn't spend big in the summer then you can protest. Wenger is a stubborn old Cúnt and if 1000s of gooners can see, whats fucking wrong with the club
why can't he, and he is meant to be Prof - supporters for last 12 months have said Almunia and Fabianski were shit, and either we need a new number 1 or give Chezzy a chance
I support Arsenal FC - not Arsene Wenger and his bunch of so call professional tossers
only 3 or 4 Arsenal players are actually worth paying good money to watch

I think you have misundertood what fans on here complain about.Demun210 wrote:

Some of us have supported the club over 30, 40, even 50 years.
We know things go in cycles and "Some you win some you lose".
But since summer 2008 there has been a change with Wenger. Every year up to then we made progress, you could see how the club was going forward.
Every year since then we have gone backward, to the point where we have a defence who cannot defend set pieces and two ghastly player sin central midfield who should not be at the club (D+D).
It is not so much to do with finances or the new stadium, it is to do with our boss losing his edge and the coaching staff not being effective.
Northbankbren is bang on, the campaign is simple.
Mr Wenger, please buy two or three decent experienced players and stop messing about!
