They've calmed down a bit now, I think its because they assumed it was an anti arsene/arsenal protest.

No-one is doubting the job that Arsene Wenger has done for Arsenal.
Wenger is the most successful manager in the club's history and that is why it would be madness to entertain any talk of showing him the exit door.
Arsenal could yet end up winning the Premier League title as they are still within touching distance of leaders Manchester United.
However, this season - and the past fortnight, in particular - has proved beyond any doubt that Wenger should tweak parts of his philosophy.
That doesn't mean get rid of the manager. Just change a few things to end the frustration largely fixated on the six-year wait for a trophy.
Arsenal, after all, is not what one well-heeled caller described as being a trip to the theatre during a phone-in on a radio station.
If you want theatre, get yourself a season ticket at The Old Vic. Arsenal is a football club, which are meant to win things.
You also then get callers saying Arsenal fans should realise how lucky they are.
Trouble is, Wenger has raised expectations by being so successful in the recent past.
Show me a football fan of any club who can happily go from winning titles to winning nothing for six years and I'll show you a liar.
Arsenal is also not a finishing school. They could probably set up a separate business to develop, train and then sell on promising youngsters at a profit.
That's a nice sideline to have, but the ultimate aim must be to develop players for Arsenal's first team. Jack Wilshere and Wojciech Szczesny are prime examples. They are going to be world class talents.
To expect Arsenal fans to really care that the club helped develop a player at, for example, Doncaster while raking in £50,000 profit is a load of irrelevant nonsense.
It's all about now, winning and building a successful team with character, attitude and a never-say-die spirit.
To do that you need leaders. Big, imposing characters. Players such as Adams, Vieira, Keown, Henry, Bergkamp and the like.
It's hard to imagine many of those players would not have come out fighting at Old Trafford last Saturday. Two trophies gone in little over 10 days, and now is the time to stand up and be counted.
Arsenal also have far too many umpa-lumpas in their side. They don't need small players, they need giants in terms of physical and mental strength.
Wenger won the title in the 2003-04 'Invincibles' season and then set about playing football a different way.
He moved away from strong athletes such as Vieira, Toure and Henry to small technical players - Rosicky, Hleb, Arshavin.
That's where the Barca Lite tag comes in. Arsenal play beautiful stuff but don't have the medals to show for it.
People will immediately say it's not that easy, but I refer you to the 2003-04 season. If it can be changed one way, then surely it can be changed back.
Far more importantly, Arsenal need to spend some money.
Wenger and members of the board have gone on record to say the cash is there for new players. In fact, there was £35million for Wenger in January, should he have wanted it.
However, surprise, surprise, he didn't want to spend it. He didn't want to pay over the odds.
But what's over the odds? Is it over the odds to spend £25m on a centre-half such as Gary Cahill if he helps you win three Premier League titles.
People baulked when Rio Ferdinand cost Manchester United £30m. That looks an absolute steal now. No-one can guarantee that Cahill would deliver trophies, but his very presence would have given the Arsenal dressing room a lift.
Wenger has never enjoyed paying big money. In previous times, former vice-chairman David Dein was in his ear, cajoling and convincing him to spend.
Dein would pull off some great deals, not necessarily signings to break the bank but big signings all the same.
On one pre-season tour, Dein introduced Gilberto Silva by simply saying: "Meet our new World Cup winner."
Now the board must be as strong with Wenger again.
Wenger is very powerful at Arsenal, highlighted by the fact he helped design the Emirates Stadium. But as powerful as he is, the fans are getting impatient. They want trophies, big names and success.
Finishing in the top four year after year may be measured as success in Wenger's and the board's eyes, but you only have to consider the angry recriminations and fall-out of the past couple of weeks to realise just how much the supporters want a trophy.
Champions League football is not enough. The Carling Cup would have done.
Laurent Koscielny was so unlucky with Birmingham's winner. His mistake cost Arsenal the cup and it was particularly cruel because he's improved so much recently.
But, while a proven top-class defender would not guarantee that no mistakes will ever be made, it would reduce the odds of them happening. That's why Arsenal isn't a finishing school for players, it should be a winning environment.
Finally, there has been much talk about Wenger's number two Pat Rice and the need for change because he's a yes man.
Anyone who has seen Rice close-up - as I did many times while watching him run the Arsenal youth team in a different era - will know he's definitely not a yes man. Rice is forthright, imposing and extremely vociferous.
Only Wenger and Rice know whether it's time for a change. To impose a number two on a manager is a dangerous game. Just look at Chelsea. It's an incredibly tight working relationship.
Which brings us back to the main point.
Wenger is so intelligent that it's hard to question him on any of his points. Arsene Knows, so the saying goes.
However, Wenger is also a stubborn man and sometimes that stubbornness is his own worst enemy.
It will take someone even stronger to ensure that Wenger's stubbornness is not taking Arsenal away from their main objectives.
That always has to be winning trophies rather than proving wrong the people who say it can't be done by playing perfect football with a team of home-grown players.
Wenger has delivered some beautiful football. But the majority of fans want a trophy, not a trip to the theatre.

Aw, now it feels like a club for the cool kids at school which I'm not a part of. Darn it.mikeyb772001 wrote:We wont be communicating anything on this thread regarding the group from now on. It was made public to early and was really only for the purpose to get advise from you the forum.
Thanks for anyone that helped with the cause.
Plans are underway and once everything is finalised we will let you know.
Still, once everything is finalised, and you've let me know whatever it is you're going to let me know, maybe I can come up in to the tree house and join the Cool Kids Club?

Its because of comments like that.
As I said we should of waited before making it public. We are serious about starting this group, so the abuse and jokes before it even begins seemed pointless.
We will post all the new links soon so you can take the piss or help with it.
Maybe nothing will change but i for one am sick of doing nothing.
Thanks for the input Tony!

I've been asked by a member of the 'Arsenal FC not PLC' group to delete this thread as things are moving on quickly and some more up to date information is going to become available. So that no-one feels put out at having their contributions disappear, I have put the thread into the basement and locked it - for posterity.
